You can find results for all of the Caucus threads by going to tonight’s main thread, which is located here:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3387772/posts

Scroll down to the bottom of the main post (up top) and there’s a clickable link to previous Caucus results.

Thanks so much for your work on the nightly caucus. The results are not what I would have expected. It seems like the people who dominated the discussions today especially were very critical of Mr. Trump and sympathetic to Sen. Cruz.

I'm not surprised by that. Those who support Trump have little reason to yell and scream, as their guy is bulldozing a path to the White House and leaving the rest in his dust. They're at peace.

Conversely, Cruz supporters see that their guy is running a distant second, with little hope of catching up. They're gonna be pissed about that, when their perception is that many of their fellow conservatives have wrongly chosen, and have given the lead to Trump.

What astounds me, is that so many in the angry crew fail to understand that those who support Trump, have done the due diligence expected of a conservative patriot, and have chosen Trump as the best man for the job.

Thanks for your work on this, data is always fascinating, as is the divergence we see here. And since this is a conservative forum, one would expect Senator Cruz to have his strongest showing here vs. in the wild.

Yep. I made that same observation last night, while contemplating why Cruz's poll numbers are so much weaker in the wild.

I noted the disqualified votes ... one candidate’s supporters need to read the voting instructions.

The thing that astounded me was the fury of the attacks against Sarah and Bristol Palin. I believe that her views are very similar to most of those here. I believe that she is a very intelligent, thoughtful, good person who has been through the fire and would take her endorsement far more seriously than most. She knows both Trump and Cruz personally and very well. Her understanding of the two of them has to be much more thorough than any of us who have no actual relationship with either and whose knowledge of them is based on what we have read, heard, or seen on Television. To me it was very disturbing that instead of respecting her judgment they went on the attack.

Very well said. I can't add anything of substance to that, but applause.

True, but compliance does seem to be improving with each night.

Desperate people do not think logically. A drowning man will grab anything floating nearby, even if it is a poisonous snake. When the dream is in danger, it is natural for some to attack anything and everything, including governor Sarah Palin. I will bet if she switches her support away from Trump tomorrow, the music will have a different sound.

Does it have any coorlation to the traffic on freerepublic and the negativity from both sides. I have seen Cruz supporters basically say that they are leaving for awhile until things calm down on fr. Think it would be valuable if traffic stats could be tracked along side these polls. but doubt that is possible.

I think to detect that would have taken starting the caucus much earlier than it did. I find some of the numbers fascinating. More people voted in the first caucus than voted in the following two, and even on the forth run, Cruz has not exceeded the number of votes he got on the first one. Trump also did not exceed the number of votes in the 2nd and 3rd run, though today did dwarf his first numbers.

I'd be even more interested to see what the results would be if it were a secret ballot.

That's true of Freepers who support Trump, as well. In fact, because Trump is leading so dominantly in this race, the Trump supporters have little to battle with anyone about. Their guy is smoking this thing.

Cruz supporters, on the other hand, are facing a near certain wipe out in the next several weeks. I can understand how they'd be uptight and ready to fight with their perceived opponents.

Thing is we're not enemies. At the end of the day, we all want the same thing. It's why we're Freepers. I'll just be glad when it's down to one candidate, so the infighting can stop, and we can get back to focusing all our energies on the correct targets.

As of this posting, it’s running about 70% Trump to maybe 29% Cruz, with a couple three votes for others thrown in.

Wonder if the Cruz votes will pick up as it progresses? Trump and Cruz have been running pretty close over the last three caucuses.

I know of at least two zots of Cruz supporters today. Expect Trump's margin to continue improving.
