Dumb. They have to keep bringing up old news. He hasn't given anything to Dems in at least the last 5 years. Zero. Zilch. Despite the political repercussions.
I have heard Trump more than once discuss who he would allow back in AFTER they were deported. He specifically mentioned college students. The standard he set was very high.
It amazes me that people think that Trump or any other politician has the time in a campaign to cover completely every angle on a given topic every time the topic is mentioned.
That coincides with the time he first decided he might run for President as a Republican. Funny how that worked out, isn't it?
You avoided my question. Just two weeks before Trump said all illegals should be deported, he was saying the "good ones" should be allowed to stay in the country and become legal. How does Trump explain the sudden and dramatic change in his position in such a short time?
Or could be because he vehemently disagreed with the Dem candidates leading up to 2012...and then saw what Obama was doing the rest of the time. Punish them all so to speak.
Well, considering the fact that he was castigating the Republicans for being too "mean-spirited" toward illegals in 2012, I doubt that he disagreed with Dems TOO vehemently.
Avoiding nothing. Re-read my post.
Then, google “Cruz on immigration” if you want to witness some waffling. The following popped up:
“Who’s more responsible for turning Cruz into a strict opponent of legalization, Rubio or Trump? Remarkably for a guy who’s doing his best to pander to Trump’s voters, Cruz kept the door open to legalizing some immigrants for almost this entire year.”
No, I am not.
Bringing them back (legally) is essentially the touchback provision of the 2007 amnesty bill.
I cited a direct quote. You claimed that Touchback Trump didn’t say it. I provided the links, and now you’re accusing me of lying. But he did say what I quoted.
