Do you blame the black men for wanting to date white women?

We live in a integrated neighborhood. I imagine it would be considered upper middle class. The neighborhood has been successfully integrated for the past 40 years. There just never was “white flight” in this neighborhood. We also have the lowest crime stats of any other neighborhood in our city.
That being said, we have quite a few interracial couples that live in this neighborhood.
As far as more black men and white woman couples, I did a quick accounting of the interracial couples we know and in our circle of friends/acquaintances, I think it’s almost 50/50 as far as white men with black spouse, versus black men with white spouse.
I also googled a couple “lists” and although I didn’t peruse the entire list, it looks like this list of celebrities with black spouses has mostly white men with black spouses (at least in the first 10 I looked at.)

As far as a demogrphic, depending on the area one lives in, I imagine the number of interracial couples vary greatly.

Watched an older American Pickers last night. White guy with a Black wife. They were obviously very much in love with each other, I dated some Black girls in college who were Marquette students. The most wonderful was Annette. A law student. Light skin, red hair, freckles, and a figure most women would kill for. But thinking of her makes me very sad. She had the sickle cell, and has probably passed. Wonderfull girl!
Seems there are an unusually large number of mixed - mainly white women black men - on some of the reality shows too - often those with fix up my house or looking for a new house themes - it’s the modern thing to do.....
Bingo.
A white man with a black woman is “stealing” a woman from the black community, and making black men look like they “aren’t good enough”. Black men do not like this at all.
However, if a black man couples with a white woman, and some white man says, “That’s not OK”, then the white man is a racist.
It’s a long-standing double standard.

According to the Billy Idol song, It’s a nice day for a white woman... Phew, that one’s old.
We’ve noticed the same in our household.
Also wonder why home security companies like ADT, Simpli-Safe etc. always show a white guy breaking into the house or stealing your car even though statistics prove otherwise.
I am just making an observation. I don’t know what it means but I have ideas.
TV destroyed many aspects of Our culture.
Kind of a bogus issue. I’ve seen several wm/bf commercials in recent times. There was a Swiffer commercial last fall that comes to mind, and more recently I saw one for auto insurance.
One of my brothers married a woman who is part black. She’s a wonderful woman. One brother married a Filipina. One of my nephews married a girl of Mexican ancestry. I don’t rightly give a good g******m who they marry. None of my business.

my Dad and his brother were both in the 101st CB, but the Navy needed machinists in bad way so my Dad switched to the regular Navy Buzz was on Saipan when my Dad's ship stopped by to pick up supplies and the Capt actually gave my Dad 24hrs shore leave to see his brother

Back in the sixties, I worked in a professional photo lab. We made enlargements of many, many weddings. Interracial marriages were very rare. When you’d see one of a white guy with a black bride, the white guy always looked like a loser who married up. Any weddings you saw of a black groom and white bride, the bride was inevitably overweight and plain.
We used to hate printing black weddings entirely. In order to show sufficient detail in the bridal dress, we had to make the print dark enough to do that, which made the bride and the wedding party look a lot darker than they thought they were. So, we’d pull back the exposure to lighten the faces and lose detail in the dress. There just wasn’t enough contrast control possible to make everyone happy. We hated to see an order come in from a black wedding.

Because white men want to be the man in the relationship.
I haven’t seen that many WM-BF couples many, MANY more BM-WF couples hence my post.
The ones that are attractive, successful and intelligent are generally out of my league. They generally fall into a few categories, like actor, professional (dentist, doctor, lawyer or corp exec) or strippers.
Right now, all I can think of is that teenage girl from the Trayvon Martin incident, but just in general, all I see are when I look up violent crime or see vids like beat downs in McDonalds. They just are not pretty.
