If you believe more gun control by your government is going to save lives, you are being naïve. The champion of all the mass killings in this world is always a tyrannical government.
Where I came from, China had killed thousands of the students by its own government during the massacre of Tian An Men square in 1989. I surely wish my fellow Chinese citizens back then had guns like this one I am holding in the picture.
I am a Chinese immigrant and an American citizen by choice. I once was a slave before and I will never be one again.

Thank you, Lily. You surely have your head on straight. I recently sent out a video link which shows gun ownership, murder rate %, etc., ranked worldwide. In gun ownership numbers, the USA is Number 1. In murder rate per 100K, we are 111th on the planet. If you weed out all the gun-free, high crime cities, like DC and Chicago, we’d be waaay lower in ranking even than we now are.
I got a reply from a lady, ranting about knowing someone who has 100+ weapons - some semi and some automatic; and how nobody needs that kind, or that many for hunting....
I explained that the Second Amendment had NOTHING to do with hunting. The Framers gave us the 2nd because they had just come through a war with an overpowering, dictatorial government, and wanted the American citizenry to be able to defend ourselves from such a government, should one arise.
I told her, the safest place in the United States is in Plano, TX, because it has the highest gun ownership per capita. And I told her the most DANGEROUS place to be is in a gun free zone.
Cowardly mass murderers ALWAYS default to do their deed in the place where they are least likely to encounter lethal opposition. Check it out: School and college campuses, malls, South Carolina church, San Bernardino municipal offices, gun free zones, etc., etc.

The estimates vary, but in the last 100 years leftist governments have killed 80-150 million of their own citizens. I think this makes democrRATs, socialists and all other flavors of marxist-leftist politicians much more dangerous than guns in private hands.
