I suspect Cosby first tried this decades ago, and got away with it, long before he ever became “famous.” It’s like the progression of a thief...you steal once, get away with it, do it again, get away with it, and it progresses from there, as you continue to not get caught. Cosby got away with this from the very first get-go, and just kept on doing it...well, because he kept on getting away with it. Eventually, you think you can get away with it for good, until it finally catches up with you.

And then they wait until the last minute to file charges. Regardless of how guilty he really is I don’t see how they’ll get a conviction. I think they are using the trial as punishment.

Because that little trick he did that has you still apologizing for him is how he escaped justice; the women knew they wouldn’t be believed.
You apparently don't know the definition of apology nor apologist. Read my posts again. Nowhere did I suggest he get off if guilty. In fact I explicitly said the opposite.
Thanks for your reply. What you say about the multiple independent accusations makes sense. Like I said, I have no opinion on his guilt. I haven’t followed the accusations to the extent that I’m familiar with the facts you cite. (Not saying you’re wrong, just giving you the context for my earlier post)
I’ve been trying to imagine how Cosby got started with his fetish as well. To hear his bit about Spanish fly that he’s done forever, clearly when he was a young teen he longed for sex and wasn’t able, like most young teens, and he heard these rumors about Spanish fly, that made girls allow you to do things to them. He made it sound as though the mythical Spanish fly didn’t make the girls guy but rather become compliant.
That alone is a bit off. Most boys dream of meeting a girl who wants to as much as he does. He dreamed of doing things to compliant bodies even very young.
But I agree with you; once he was famous, he started doing this with the pills and booze, and enjoyed it and got away with it, and thought he was invincible. He realized his fame helped him. And once he was beloved Pudding Pop guy and Dr, Huxtable, well, no one would ever believe any of the women, so he could just keep doing it.
He really only wanted warm corpses, and he had zero respect for these victims. He is actually lucky none of them died from the drug.
