I call them large, wooly, 4 legged termites.
Other than goat chow in a bag, they'll eat...
...bark of a living tree, bark off a dead tree, green leaves, dry leaves, twigs, cardboard boxes, your napkin from the picnic table if they can nab it away from you, junk mail, bills, your newspaper if you are slow to get it off the driveway in the morning, most any baked item that humans eat and they'll nibble at your clothes.
Did I mention the wife's flowers? Yummy!
They'll stick their nose right into a pile of yard debris that's afire if they want a 'treat' out of it.

Good lord. They’re like overgrown puppies. That’s adorable- except for the burn pile part. (I like mischief in critters. As long as it’s in small groups. Great entertainment!) I can’t resist a 4 legged thief.
That’s a good looking group. :-D Obviously doing what they like to do best.
