33,600-piece Jigsaw Puzzle Completed
Neatorama ^ | January 11, 2015 | Miss Cellania

It took 450 hours of work, but redditor manne0708 finished a jigsaw puzzle with 33,600 pieces. She says it was accomplished over two and a half months, despite the interference of two dogs and a cat. There were a few pieces retrieved from the vacuum cleaner bag. She is considering donating it to a children’s hospital after it is sealed.

The puzzle is called Wildlife, and it will cost you nearly $400. It*s not a world record puzzle, but it is the largest mass-produced puzzle on the market.

Wow 33,600 pieces. How do you even find a corner to start on? ;-)

I like puzzles.

I loved them as a kid but I don't think I have the attention span any more to attempt to put one together..........

I miss our big house; after we took the Christmas tree down we’d set up a big puzzle in the living room....and leave it up until spring. Was a great past time for the long winter. Hot chocolate before the roaring fire kind of nice.

You couldn’t walk past it without pausing to find just *one more piece to fit*.

If I spent $389.89 on Amazon, it would be for an SSD hard drive, not a giant cardboard toy. ;-)

Wanna use my AmazonPrime?

I rather spend the money on a new firearm. Or more ammo.

I just found one at a tag sale this past weekend ....vintage box....and it looked like it still has all the pieces. We'll see this winter.

I was just thinking....where do you lay out all the 33,600 pieces? You’d have to rent the local VFW hall for the winter. :)

Interestingly enough, the middle east was always the hardest territory to hold.

To be really mean, they should design a puzzle like this, but make every piece with a square corner that looks like an edge. ;-)
