In new shock poll, Sanders has landslides over both Trump and Bush
The Hill ^ | 11/11/2015 | Brent Budowsky

In a new McClatchy-Marist poll, Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) leads Republican candidate Donald Trump by a landslide margin of 12 percentage points, 53 to 41. In the McClatchy poll, Sanders also leads former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) by a landslide margin of 10 points, 51 to 41.

The huge Sanders advantage over Trump is not new. In the last four match-up polls between them reported by Real Clear Politics, Sanders defeated Trump by margins of 12, 9, 9 and 2 percentage points.

It is shocking that the data suggests that Sanders has a lead over Trump that could be so huge that he would win a landslide victory in the presidential campaign, with margins that would almost certainly lead Democrats to regain control of the Senate and could help Democrats regain control of the House of Representative — if, of course, the three polls that show Sanders beating Trump by 9 to 12 points reflect final voting in the presidential election.

Presidential campaign manager:

“We would like to commission a poll.”

Pollster:

“We can do that for you.”

Presidential campaign manager:

“What kind of a result do you think we’ll get at this point?”

Pollster:

“What kind of result would you like?”

Presidential campaign manager:

“Uhmmmm....well....we’d like it to show us winning handily, of course.”

Pollster:

“We can do that.”

Bernie is predicted to win the Presidency in one poll with 100% accuracy ... so yes, very deep trouble.

Under Bernie, immigration will be completely open, Islam will be the de facto State religion, Christians and Jews will be persecuted, all drugs legal, freedom of speech will be what the government says it is, guns will be banned, the Constitution burned by radical students who will police speech and thought; in fact, the US, under Bernie, will look like China during the time of the Red Guards with an Islamic twist.

Islamic terrorism will become a daily occurrence; beheadings and stonings compulsory public events.

OK, here's the...

METHODOLOGY

This survey of 1,465 adults was conducted Oct. 29-Nov. 4 by The Marist Poll, sponsored and funded in partnership with McClatchy. Adults residing in the continental United States were interviewed in English or Spanish by telephone using live interviewers. Land-line telephone numbers were randomly selected based upon a list of telephone exchanges from throughout the nation from ASDE Survey Sampler Inc. The exchanges were selected to ensure that each region was represented in proportion to its population. Respondents in the household were then selected by first asking for the youngest male. To increase coverage, this land-line sample was supplemented by respondents reached through random dialing of cellphone numbers from Survey Sampling International. The two samples were then combined and balanced to reflect the 2013 American Community Survey one-year estimates for age, gender, income, race and region. Results are statistically significant within plus or minus 2.6 percentage points. There are 1,080 registered voters. The results for this subset are statistically significant within plus or minus 3.0 percentage points. The error margin was not adjusted for sample weights and increases for cross-tabulations.

I've noticed a lot of surveys using the ACS for their demographics standard. Given conservatives reticence to comply with this government intrusion, I'd guess we're massively under counted.

And to add: C) No one has yet directly challenged that old communist on his views, because nobody takes him seriously as a real opponent to Ãœbershrew.

The only people who talk to pollsters anymore are people who thought they were being asked about Col. Sanders and wanted some free chicken.

Bat-sh*t crazy Bernie should be wearing a straight jacket. No way this poll is remotely valid.

It is actually 6 different polls, it is at Real Clear Politics. Shows other match-ups as well.

Sanders led in most of them.

I think it's because most people don't actually know who he is.

He's not a Bush, not a Clinton, not an Obama, and not Donald Trump, and right now, that's enough for a lot of people.

The numbers may be different when people find out more about him.

It’s likely BS, but if we were to lose this election, nothing would make me LMAO like electing that Commie.

Here’s the poll question:

Who would you vote for? A: the kind, sensitive compassionate Bernie Sanders who will give you more free stuff than you ever got before or B: the evil, vicious, racist Donald Trump who wants to steal all your money and give it to his fat cat friends?

No need to worry about this poll. Even if true its irrelevant. Bernie won’t get anywhere near to a democrat ticket.

Did you happen to catch Trump’s speech last night? He’s been batting away at Commierat Bernie for a while. Kinda funny to hear ;-) says Bernie would be easy to beat, compared to Hellary. That’s why he wants Hellary to beat Bernie.

“Either this poll is complete BS or this country is in deep trouble.”

The poll is complete BS.

We have reached the point where way too many people are to be blunt, idiots.

We jumped that shark officially when Bozo was re-elected to a second term in 2012. I said my prayers over the carcass of the US back then.

From that point on, I view it like a war for independence with shades of WWIII on the horizon.
