Adidas announced an initiative Thursday to help high schools nationwide drop Native American mascots.
The athletic shoe and apparel maker said it will offer free design resources to schools looking to shelve Native American mascots, nicknames, imagery or symbolism. The German company also pledged to provide financial support to ensure the cost of changing is not prohibitive.

I would think that a stone age people that had no use for the wheel, used their dogs for transport and food would be eternally grateful to the folks that brought them horses, cattle, pigs, central heating, firearms and a thousand other things, and take some pride in the fact that we honor them at all.
By 1502, the Florentine merchant and explorer Amerigo Vespucci had figured out that Columbus was wrong, and word of a New World had spread throughout Europe. America was later named for Vespucci.
Blacks, gays, native Americans, mascots etc., et al ....
just tools
America is still the only hope of evangelizing the planet and THAT must be stopped
Kill America by killing the family, which kills the church that preaches and teaches Jesus.
Extra credit;
What do you say when you talk to yourself ?
Big game in Tuscaloosa, Alabama tomorrow. Oh man, that town is named after a famous Indian chief and the state is named after tribe. What to do, what to do? What do the PC police say about that?
A company headquartered in former Nazi Germany should be advising no one on nothing.
I find the Adidas logo offensive. Let us protest!
My late wife was Seminole. She never referred to herself as a ânative Americanâ but as either Indian or Seminole. It was the same when I was in the army, I had many Indians in my platoon. They either referred to themselves by nation (Apache) or by tribal affiliation.

This world has gone crazy!
Every nation that ignored God has eventually perished. We’re at the break point in history when every nation in the world is being “watered down” by foreigners.
In the end, the only nation that will stand literally is Israel. And even they will be severely purged.
I find this movement away from Nationalism to be rather prophetic. Specifically, Revelation 13.
The Seminole Indian tribe of Florida laughs at this.
Only a lefty thinks an honor is offensive. They have sick minds.
Victory of style over substance, an utter waste of time and money, and empty-headed nonsense.
Do Native Americans really understand why this is being encouraged? What is actually means, long term, for Native Americans?
Who is behind it? Progressives/Liberals/Leftists, and they are slowing erasing the Native American culture, one mascot at a time.
Anything Progressives/Liberals/Leftists supposedly do out of the goodness of their hearts has an underlying purpose.
Wake up while you still have a culture to wake up to.
Progressives/Liberals/Leftists are so proficient at the way they operate, look at what they got primarily Republicans to do in the South — get rid of the Confederate flag. Oh, and a few statues of Confederate heroes.
A German company wishing to help ‘rid’ American sports teams of native American symbols, (which as a true half-beed I’m ok with), should stay home and fix their own mess.
Adidas ought to worry more about getting their heads chopped off by invading Moslems in Germany. That they’re pushing this crap tells me that they’re brainwashed, insane liberals, towing the PC line to the bitter end. When the Adidas executives are lined up for execution, they’ll cry their little eyes out and never understand why they’re about to die. They really believe that political correctness will save them.
Adidas is a German owned corporation and should worry more about Deutschland than meddling in American affairs.
Nike hates American Indians!
Don’t forget the liquor and guns!
