A "UFO was intercepted" by the International Space Station (ISS), claim alien hunters, who allege footage from a NASA live camera feed which zoomed in on a mysterious glowing orb suddenly cut out.

A UFO hunter claims the ISS camera locked on and zoomed into a “mystery glowing orbâ€, but after monitoring the ball of light, Nasa cut the live stream from public viewing.
The "Unidentified Flying Object (UFO)" was visible in the distance between the ISS and Earth, according to Scott C Waring, editor of UFO Sightings Daily, before the "camera panned towards it and then zoomed in."
Mr Waring said: "I was watching the space station live cam when I noticed the camera switch to a new camera.
"Then the camera began to swing to the left until it focused on a white oval between it and Earth.
"The object had matched its speed with the space station. The camera then continued to zoom closer and closer, but all we could see was a glowing white oval.
"The vibrate light from the UFO was so powerful that even NASA's new seven million dollar HD cameras could not focus on it."

Mr Waring has contacted NASA to ask for details of what was seen by the ISS camera operator.
He has also posted a video of the "event" to YouTube, in which the light appears so bright it has the appearance of a ring of light around the orb and a cross through it.
Mr Waring said on the video: "Look at the radiance. It almost looks like it has a cross and a bright halo around it. Very unusual and Nasa keeps and eye on it until the go blue screen (video cuts out).
"They are trying to get a good look, but obviously it is too bright.
"Why did NASA turn their camera towards this? Why did NASA want to take a look at this? "What is so extraordinary about it that they wanted to look at it?
"Well the fact is it is a UFO and a glowing object."
Express.co.uk has contacted NASA to ask what, if anything was seen on the camera last Thursday, and awaits a response.

Why obviously it is swamp gas we are seeing. . . .
Looks more like a weather balloon to me.
I have not watched the video.
But the halo and the cross are artifacts from a lens.
You can have the best produced lens in the world, but if someone shoots a bright light directly into it, you will get some artifacts.
I am a professional photographer. I have about $50,000 worth of the best glass for cameras you can get.
Whether or not the light is of this world? I have no idea and will not venture a guess.

Watching the video, it is obvious to me that the object is very close to the ISS, and is relatively small compared to the ISS solar panel in the shot. Its brightness is reflected Sunlight.
If the object were very far away, the perspectives would have changed as the camera zoomed in. The fact that the relative spacing of the object and the solar panel remains constant as the camera zooms tells me that the distance between the two is not very great.
Probably a hunk of ice or other debris from the ISS.

I watched the video. This isn’t light reflected off the window, like someone shooting video through a window and the light reflection off of it being caught. The cross and halo are lens flare.
This, however, begs the question: All that money and no camera with adaptive filtering? Telescopes use this to look at the sun every day. Also, you’d think the external came would be able to pick up UV and IR, plus radiation. It’s a science platform for pete’s sake.

Oh come now, we can’t let facts get in the way of a UFO conspiracy.
Interesting piece of space junk illuminated by the sun. The “cross” and halo are artifacts of the camera CCD and lens.
On a brighter note, while metal detecting at the river tonight, just three hours ago I saw two awesome reentries of space junk steak across the sky. The first died in a large fireball, and a minute later another piece entered and evaporated in a streak of white, yellow, orange and green debris trail. They both were visible for at least two seconds. What a sight!
