Since more than 50% of the people in this area are into the natural lifestyle, the clinic that has made enough money to still be open-people flock to it-is the one with an Indian doc who recommends natural remedies first, knows aurydevic remedies and believes the mind-body connection and prayer is all-important. He also makes referrals to a Chinese doc in the next county who has an acupuncture clinic.

His take on the flu, shingles, etc vaccines for adults is that those sensitive individuals like me who have had reactions to them, have a strong immune system, and have not taken antibiotics-in 35 years in my case-are likely to be more harmed than helped by those vaccines, because they may upset what is a successful natural balance of the body.

He knows I’m one of the old hippie/naturalist types here who has lived a drug-free lifestyle with vitamins, herbal supplements and natural food most of my life-when I asked him about getting any of that stuff, he said better not to tempt fate with vaccines if you are healthy and have had bad reactions to the stuff-and it makes sense for me, but obviously it is not for everyone-one size does not fit all, and a small child certainly changes the equation-the adult can pass something bad to the child-and the child can do the same to the adult, so both need to be on the safe side.

I’m not around small children-there are none under the age of maybe 7-8 within 10 miles that I know of-there are actually not many in the whole county-and none of my friends have small kids...

Oh he’s doing well thanks for asking! Quite a little chubbikins. Xsteen is breastfeeding exclusively and pumping while at work, so he’s getting healthy stuff.

Did that when I had the cub, too and it is still the accepted best way here in BFE-I’m so glad to hear it is the same in your family-natural motherhood just can’t be improved upon...
