Mass Grave Found in California Reveals Prehistoric Violence Against ‘Outsiders’
Western Digs ^ | September 28, 2015 | Blake de Pastino

...Now, chemical analysis has revealed that the men were far from home when they were killed, up to several days’ journey from where they were born and raised.

The discovery is only the most recent example of violence among prehistoric hunter-gatherers in the region, anthropologists say. But it bears important lessons about the nature of conflict and warfare in pre-contact California...

The grave was unearthed in 2012 during the construction of a shopping center in the town of Pleasanton, in the Amador Valley just east of Oakland...

One of the men suffered a severe blow above the left eye, causing fractures that radiated through the side of his skull.

Another took a blow above the right eye, and a flake of obsidian was found by his pelvis.

Still another contained a biface, or knife-shaped blade, made of chert between his ribs.

All of the remains returned the same radiocarbon range, dating to around the year 850 CE.

My favorite is the Linear Band Culture in Central Europe during the Neolithic; Murder, Mayhem, and Cannibalism, not to forget rape and pillage.

I was in a high state of pissed off at Marja Gumbatus and her woman dominated society of love when I discovered this Culture. They lived at the same time she said was all peace and love.

I remind all of the ladies out there that in primitive war like societies that your reproductive ability and looks maybe the difference between life and death.

Re: “Pre-contact is a term that’s bound for oblivion...”

It's my Conservative nature to cling to favorite old words as they are being trucked to the landfill.

“Hominid,” for instance, now being replaced by the unpronounceable “hominin.”

Thanks for quote.

I would guess it is here

The circumstances of death invite speculation that it was a woman-raiding party that at some point went very badly for the raiders. They did not have livestock yet. So maybe it was just a bunch of horny single guys from a village in the central valley who decided to find some women from a more populated area in the coast, only this time, the coast village they chose to raid from was ready for them and decided not to let them off with just a slap on the wrist.

In reality, there is only US and the OTHERS,
and if you think the Others are the same as US
you have a real surprise coming in that THEY
don’t believe it.

Nope, it’s Common Era.

Common to whom? Answer: Christians. Common is a euphemism meant for libtards that can't handle the truth.

I agree. Had a big argument with a Freeper about this a couple of years ago. It’s really dumb but there it is.
