How goes Infidel?
running late today. Did the Doc dissect the debate?
knock, knock, anyone home? just walked in the door.
Hey Infidel I wasn’t able to listen to the Savage Nation today I’ll have to catch the Podcast hope you are doing well.
That's why I recognized that he was an Isflamist.. he is the Grand Wallah of Isflam. Everything they say is flam.
However some cases involving non citizens contain a judge's "incidental expression of opinion, not essential to the decision and not establishing precedent -- an incidental remark" (obiter dictum).
Internet sources: In weighing a remark uttered under such circumstances, it is well to bear in mind the often quoted words of Chief Justice Marshall:
"It is a maxim not to be disregarded that general expressions in every opinion are to be taken in connection with the case in which those expressions are used. If they go beyond the case, they may be respected, but ought not to control the judgment in a subsequent suit when the very point is presented for decision. The reason of this maxim is obvious. The question actually before the court is investigated with care, and considered in its full extent. Other principles which may serve to illustrate it are considered in their relation to the case decided, but their possible bearing on all other cases is seldom completely investigated."
The opinions expressed by justices vis-a-vis ILLEGAL alien children born here were beyond the cases being decided.
Yes I know that I am a nothing, a nobody.. stupid and uneducated.. but I swear that could have finally got through the third grade but I got drafted that year.
I don’t know if I would trust the current Supremes on the illegal anchor baby question. More likely to rule that they are “instant” citizens.
Now, to the point of South Ossetia -- you do realise that North and South Ossetia are both one land populated by Ossetians, right?
Who are the Ossetians? They are the descendents of the ancient Alans - the Alani were an Irani speaking, Irani branch of the Indo-European people who are descendents of Sarmatians.
When the Goths came to what is now Ukraine in the 3rd century, they broke the power of the Alani, but then the Huns came and swept all of these peoples west. Most of the Alani went west to France, Spain and then some joined with Vandals and Suebi to go to North Africa. So the Alani blood lines are present in Russia, Ukraine, Romania, Hungary, Germania, France, Spain, Morocco, Algeria etc.
Some remained and became the Ossetians -- they were invited by the Kartvelian (Georgian) kings to convert to Christianity and protect the northern borders of Georgia. The Ossetians protect the Caucasian gates -- a break in the Caucasian mountains.
Georgia went through a strong process of Kartvelisation / Georgianisation, which is why the Abkhaz (an Adhyge people who speak a north-Caucasian language unrelated to the Kartvelian (Georgian) language family) and the Ossetes (who speak an Irani language paart of the Indo-European family that is also unrelated to Kartvelian language family) broke away
The majority would vote for Russia as Russia would protect their distinct culture better than Tbilisi would
