"So Beats My Heart For You" is played by the Buckingham String Players (directed by Van Phillips) on Columbia CB-148, recorded on October 10, 1930. Lou Aberlado is the vocalist.

"So Beats My Heart For You" was from "Rah-Rah Daze," a musical stage show that played at the Mason Theater, which stood at Broadway and First Street in Los Angeles. Fred Waring played the lead role, and his band, Waring's Pennsylvanians also had a big hit with the tune, as did Earl Burtnett & His Los Angeles Biltmore Hotel Orchestra.
