Hillary Clinton: Bane of the Secret Service
National Review ^ | 10/01/2015 | Deroy Murdoch

Posted on 10/01/2015 10:52:07 AM PDT by conservativejoy

Her temperment is perfectly unsuited for the presidency. ‘Good morning, ma’am,” a member of the uniformed Secret Service once greeted Hillary Clinton. “F*** off,” she replied. That exchange is one among many that active and retired Secret Service agents shared with Ronald Kessler, author of First Family Detail, a compelling look at the intrepid personnel who shield America’s presidents and their families — and at those whom they guard. Kessler writes flatteringly and critically about people in both parties.

Regarding the Clintons, Kessler presents Chelsea as a model protectee who respected and appreciated her agents. He describes Bill as a difficult chief executive, but an easygoing ex-president. And Kessler exposes Hillary as an epically abusive Arctic monster. “When in public, Hillary smiles and acts graciously,” Kessler explains. “As soon as the cameras are gone, her angry personality, nastiness, and imperiousness become evident.” He adds: “Hillary Clinton can make Richard Nixon look like Mahatma Gandhi.”

Kessler was an investigative reporter with the Wall Street Journal and Washington Post and has penned 19 other books. Among much more in First Family Detail, he reports: • “Hillary was very rude to agents, and she didn’t appear to like law enforcement or the military,” former Secret Service agent Lloyd Bulman recalls. “She wouldn’t go over and meet military people or police officers, as most protectees do.

She was just really rude to almost everybody. She’d act like she didn’t want you around, like you were beneath her.” “Hillary didn’t like the military aides wearing their uniforms around the White House,” one former agent remembers. “She asked if they would wear business suits instead. The uniform’s a sign of pride, and they’re proud to wear their uniform. I know that the military was actually really offended by it.”

RELATED: Former agent Jeff Crane says, “Hillary would cuss at Secret Service drivers for going over bumps.” Another former member of her detail recollects, “Hillary never talked to us. . . . Most all members of first families would talk to us and smile. She never did that.” “We spent years with her,” yet another Secret Service agent notes. “She never said thank you.”

• Within the White House, Hillary had a “standing rule that no one spoke to her when she was going from one location to another,” says former FBI agent Coy Copeland. “In fact, anyone who would see her coming would just step into the first available office.” One former Secret Service agent states, “If Hillary was walking down a hall, you were supposed to hide behind drapes used as partitions.”

Hillary one day ran into a White House electrician who was changing a light bulb in the upstairs family quarters. She screamed at him, because she had demanded that all repairs be performed while the Clintons were outside the Executive Mansion. “She caught the guy on a ladder doing the light bulb,” says Franette McCulloch, who served at that time as assistant White House pastry chef. “He was a basket case.”

White House usher Christopher B. Emery unwisely called back Barbara Bush after she phoned him for computer troubleshooting. Emery helped the former first lady twice. Consequently, Kessler reports, Hillary sacked him. The father of four stayed jobless for a year. • While running for U.S. Senate, Hillary stopped at a 4-H club in upstate New York. As one Secret Service agent says, Hillary saw farmers and cows and then erupted. “She turned to a staffer and said, ‘What the f*** did we come here for? There’s no money here.’”

Secret Service “agents consider being assigned to her detail a form of punishment,” Kessler concludes. “In fact, agents say being on Hillary Clinton’s detail is the worst duty assignment in the Secret Service.” Ronald Kessler has studied the Secret Service and its relationships with dozens of presidents, vice presidents, and their families. His astonishment at Hillary Clinton’s inhumanity should reverberate inside every American’s head. As he told me: “No one would hire such a person to work at a McDonald’s, and yet she is being considered for president of the United States.”

I worked in the Bush Administration for about 15 months after 9/11 and met a number of Secret Service agents, some of whom had been on one or more details during the Clinton administration. What you read above is only scratching the surface. Al Gore was/is as universally despised by agents as Hillary...

Actually, the attitudes of the White House Staff - USSS agents and the WH stewards - toward the Bushes (both 41 and 43) is exactly the opposite. ALL the staff got Christmas cards from the Bushes every year, the Bushes knew the names of their spouses and children and treated their staff with genuine respect and friendship. GW Bush did things for his staff and the military that the press has never reported on and many things that he purposely kept from the press; not my favorite president in terms of policy, but a good guy with a great sense of humor.

No, rather rely on her own words.

The former First Lady lavished praise on the man who defeated George H.W. Bush in 1992, lovingly saying that Clinton is “a good fellow” who is “very thoughtful about calling.”

“He never said a mean word about anyone,” she said in an interview with Parade Magazine set to appear this weekend.

She even revealed that her sons - including, of course, George W. Bush, who followed Clinton into the Oval Office - call him “My brother by another mother.”

“He’s very nice,” Barbara Bush continued. “I think she thinks of George [Sr.] as the father he never had.”....

Read on, it only gets more cloying as the whole family joins in on the love fest for the perjuring rapist.

she didn’t come from money so she doesn’t understand what it means....

I've talked to a number of people who have said the same thing. Also, about the Obamas.

Approximately, the Bushes (all of them) have always had people who worked for them. They're used to dealing with a staff and can do it on a professional level without belittling the people. Everyone has a job, everyone knows what needs to be done and who should do it, so things happen properly.

Neither the Clintons or the Obamas ever dealt with an enormous staff, and have no idea how to handle it. Thus, when foolish demands are made (BO forcing his Marine guards to hold his umbrella comes immediately to mind), friction happens. And, unfortunately, both the Clintons and Obamas impress me as *very* small people, so rather than taking a polite correction ("Ma'am, I'm sorry, we don't do that - but - we could do this instead...") they take the arrogant "I AM your BOSS and YOU WILL...." route. Thus making every situation worse.

Regarding Bill Clinton, allow me to quote a good friend of mine in the Secret Service: “He had the morals of an alley cat and you’d never let him near your wife, but he was a very charismatic and likeable guy you’d love to have a beer with.”

As for Barbara Bush, she apparently had the same attitude as most American women who voted for Clinton twice...

Thighness is, ironically, the ONE girl in Carville’s trailer park who would notice that $100 bill being dragged thru and pounced on it like a duck on a junebug. She actually does come from a little bit of money in the Chicago suburbs, but acts like she was kidnapped from an European Gypsy elite family in elementary school after watching her big brother being executed by Patton for the fun of it.

good chance she never found out because he never said anything to her and the relationship that Barbra bush had with him was just that of someone that she knew who worked on computers she asked a favor of.

——I have had the opportunity to mingle with some mighty rich people in my life...and one thing they all have in common is they don’t act like they are rich, they don’t talk about it, they don’t show it...——

Yup...I worked for two companies where the owners were almost billionaires...as a manager, I worked with them several times...

First time I meet one of them, he drove up in old brown chevy in a wrinkly off the rack brown suit...

I never meet him before, we were sitting next to each other, I thought he was some bean counter from corp...we chatted for few moments...

Imagine my surprise when they introduced him as company owner and CEO...!

Apologists claim Clinton just ran out of steam on the way to the restroom and the Bush table was the closest one to plop down in for a quick diet pepsi.

I worked at the oldest country club in our small city for 10 years. It had all the old money families. At the same time my best friend was working at a different country club in town. The one with all the new money.
My job was great. Got along with all the members and actually became kind of friends with a few of them. The stories my friend told me about their members made me cringe.
If you’ve never been around people with a lot of money you don’t get it but there is a huge difference between old money and new money.

It’s not gossip. One story I heard, and I’ll make it as generic as possible:

She came up to someone who wasn’t on WH detail who was waiting there for another reason. She was furious because she assumed he was there to attend to her needs, and wasn’t. She furiously berated the guy for a minute or two, ranting and raving. He stood there silent, waiting for a pause, at which point he said “I don’t work for you, bitch.” She froze, taken completely aback, and stood there slackjawed and mute for a few seconds, before pivoting and storming off.

Whether it actually happened or not, the story brings a smile to my face every time I close my eyes and picture it.

On the flip side, I’ve heard the exact opposite of the Bushes, particularly W. He was everyone’s favorite boss. He’d do something special for your birthday, always would ask about your wife and kids. He took a genuine interest in the people around him and made sure they were recognized and appreciated. Far from a bumbling fool, he was actually really sharp and a fine extemporaneous speaker without the cameras around.

He’s got a bad rap on the left because they’re just insane with hate, and a bad rap on the right for basically handing over the keys to those nutbars after 2006. But for quality of person, let’s put it in beverage terms: W is Chateau Lafite, and Hillary is a cup of Bill Gates’ water prior to treatment. Her soul is black.

Yep, there are two types of rich folks: those who had character and honor long before becoming wealthy and those who didn’t. The model for the JR Ewing character was HL Hunt, once the wealthiest man in the world. I grew up in the same town where he used to live. I didn’t know him, but my mother (an RN) once nursed him in the hospital and said he was the meanest SOB she ever met. He produced several sons who tried to corner the silver market and ended up bankrupt. No character or honor there.

There were several other oil millionaires who lived on the same street. They never moved to mansions in Dallas like Hunt did, but gave back to the community. One, a doctor, couldn’t do enough for his church, writing a check for any amount needed. The other funded play schools and zoos for children and auditoriums for music and the arts. Neither showed off his wealth, living frugally.

Due to the oil boom, you didn’t know who was rich and who wasn’t. The elderly guy in old khakis driving a beater might well own several banks, 1000s of cattle and several oil fields. (I knew one like that when I was a kid. He would give me a silver dollar each time I visited him with my parents.)

We already knew Hillary was a nasty shrew. A living example of beauty is only skin deep but ugly goes to the bone. And that woman is ugly from skin to bone. A nasty disposition, an unpleasant personality and a meanness.

Her voice, when not carefully scripted devolves to a screechy hectoring nastiness that makes a mans testicles recede up to his neck, and makes most women taste aluminum.

Read the book; and no question; Kessler speaks to truth of Hillary. Have only to recall ex FBI Agent, Gary Aldrich's book. . .'Unlimited Access' as he recounts his duty served as one of 'two' FBI Agents in service of 'First Family' at White House. There are more, of course, who reveal such truths and only have to go to 'Amazon', to check out.

Amazing, that Hillary - and Bill - for that matter; 'still' engender Media loyalties who aid and abet their public image. Given now, numerous other avenues - and willingness per 'public service' - for sharing Hillary 'truth'; it must be even more challenging to maintain the image of a Hillary, that does not exist.

This is, of course; what Leftists generally 'must do'. . .as the 'truth' is NEVER, their friend. And their 'real', is never ours.

Great story-telling. May it become a ‘myth’ of sorts; that carries the truth to any/all ‘Leftist’ constituency, who otherwise, ‘cannot get it’. . .
