Robert Sears, a math teacher at Hillbrook School in Los Gatos, where Loukas studied from kindergarten through eighth grade, also wrote a letter in honor of his former student.
"Loukas embodies the phrase 'Still waters run deep,'" Sears wrote. "The beauty and grace he is capable of is always present, under the surface, and on his feet."
The Angelo family plans to create an educational program fund in honor of Loukas.
"His spirit, quiet, strong and selfless will continue in our hearts and minds forever," Edwards said.

It’s been a bad week for this in my world. On Thursday, my daughter and I witnessed a woman in a motorized wheelchair get completely rundown as a drunk ran a stop sign. She’s still alive but according to the news not doing very well. Traumatic for my 8 year old to see. The guy driving the car confessed to drinking 5 beers beforehand. It was 5:45 pm and this asshat was loaded.
Last night, I was on call at work (I work at a children’s hospital) and helped care for a 6 year old who was run down in her own driveway by a drunk who was speeding on her street and lost control of his car. This particular douchebag was not only underage but had consumed 10 beers and smoked a bowl of marijuana. The child died after 3 hours of our best efforts.
People are so unappreciative of the responsibility that comes with operating a motor vehicle. Just one more indicator of our morally bankrupt society.
So, it’s a memorial article. Is there no information on the story? He ran across the street and was hit by a car. Car speeding? Texting? Student was just being stupid not paying attention? What happened?

I don't think they had malware in F. Scott Fitzgerald's day.
They had to lower the speed limit of US 1 from 30mph to 25mph where it ran through the University of Maryland due to the number of drunken college students that were getting hit.
