Here is my finding. If you are worried about CTE don’t play tackle football.My thoughts exactly.
I have MS, and getting most neuro diseases aren't due to participating in a "voluntary" activity/job.
So although I'm sorry that NFL players (probably boxers and MMA fighters too) can develop brain trauma, it is a totally voluntary career path.

I worked for a neuropathologist at one of the world's most famous hospitals.As a result I know a little something about the field.Long story short...this is a *medical* issue,not a political one.Those who play football...hockey...baseball...soccer,etc either do,or do *not*,experience certain medical issues that others don't.
Yes,it must be insured that the medical researchers involved don't have a political/philosophical/financial ax to grind.But other than that let the *brain specialists* decide...one way or the other.

All one needs to see are tacklers launching themslves head first at the runner, and you know you have a stupid and corrupted sport...
