A Vikings fan was attacked by a pack of 49ers fans outside Levis Stadium Monday night.
Video posted on Facebook shows the attack after San Franciscos 20-3 win over Minnesota. A man in an Adrian Peterson jersey is repeatedly kicked and punched in the face while trying to get up off the pavement while a handful of 49ers fans surround him. One event security staffer, in a yellow coat, runs in to break up the fight but some of the 49ers fans still get a few more shots in on the Vikings fan before more help arrives.

I don't know if this claim is accurate, but if it is -- the moral to the story is if you go asking for trouble, don't be surprised if it comes your way.
That said, what is it with kicking people while they are down? Not only was he outnumbered, he was getting kicked while he was on the ground. A bunch of cowards acting like animals.
I know, right? Were they not awful, those unis? Thugs.
I'll blame those for Global Warming also. Very ugly uniforms. I'm not sure what they were thinking.
Bfl
San Francisco, that bastion of tolerance.
the Vikings fan yelled any of you f—kers want some? before he was tackled to the ground.
Dumb single white guy.
Barry’s Kids.
Could have been worse if the weren’t in a LTFHT sanctuary city
And you heard that where?
And if he did say that, well then, a mob attack with potentially lethal kicks to the head, the guy deserved it.
Can’t go along with that.
In my experience, Eagle fans (at home) are the worst. I’ve been to a number of 49er games over the years and their fans are a close second.
The years of reports of Raiders Fans Rioting on the streets of Oakland at the drop of a hat...Game or No Game....has been remotely...:”amusing” in that I doubt that any of them ever went to a Raider’s Game!!
They may just have purloined a few Niners Jerseys...in anticipation of the Raiders Possible move...and wanted to try them out.....
Fights were a significant and ongoing issue at the old park, SF just did a better job of keeping it under wraps than the team across the bay.
It’s still better than 50 percent that they help the QB and others off the ground. Though not perfect i know.
And if a guy wears a patriot’s jersey to a Jets game, I’ll just take an extra xanax :)
Anyone know what happened to the black football players with the kid with cancer? Did he get picked up by another team.
NFL should CONTINUE to pay all her expenses. I didn’t say MUST, but Should.
One radio host called Giant Fans “Battery Chuckers”
I grew up in NorCal... yeah, folks don’t generally think of SF sports fans as violent jerkweeds, but far too high a percentage of them are.

Ugly stuff. It’s good that some other 49’ers fans jumped in to help the security guard stop the attack, but it’s still a dammed ugly business. 3 or 4 attackers on 1 victim, beating a guy even after he’s down. They probably would have killed the guy had security and some non-thug fans not put a stop to it.
I was not there I did not hear it, it was in the article.
Yeah, they're animals all right, throwing snowballs at a drunken Santa Claus.
San Francisco, the City of Bloody Love.
Nope.
Only Veterans Stadium Had an actual cell, as did Lincoln Financial Field, before they did away with the cell for publicity reasons. The remodeled it into a “room”. They still have a real Judge on staff for every home game.
Other stadiums have used already existing rooms to sometimes hold unruly fans until police arrive.
No other NFL team has had the problem to the extent Philadelphia did/does.
I do know, anywhere that has 80,000+ fans, football, NASCAR, Soccer, has a paid police, and emergency staff.
Aww, the city of tolerance strikes again.
