Alek Skarlatos Joins the Cast of Dancing with the Stars Season 21

Army National Guard Specialist Alek Skarlatos has joined the Dancing with the Stars Season 21 cast! Alek became a worldwide hero in August when he helped avert a massacre aboard a Belgian train. While on vacation after a deployment in Afghanistan, the 22 year-old sprang into action when an armed attacker began shooting on the train. Alek and two of his friends, Airman 1st Class Spencer Stone and student Anthony Sadler, disarmed and subdued the attacker, who was armed with guns and a box cutter.

I just watched and he did great. Hope he gets the votes like other vets in prior shows did.

My mother, several years ago, was taking care of an older sick man, maybe his early 80s.

He stayed in his room all the time except to come out to watch Dancing with the Stars lol.

My mother thinks it was because of the women :)

For someone who has never danced before and who only had a few weeks to learn one well enough for an audience, he did extremely well. He even looked as though he were enjoying it, although a bit hesitant at times.

Only remembering that Gary Busey was is some sort of accident, I looked him up and discovered that he is a Christian.

They make a great looking couple. They are paired up very well sizewise, and they both seem to have great chemistry with the other.

Alek was surprisingly smooth as a dancer. He also brings rugged good looks, a charming easy smile, and he seems to be the most muscular man competing this season.

I don’t follow these things much, but I had no idea the show dated back that far. Wow.

I think they have two seasons a year, so it’s been 10 years.

Ahh...that makes sense. Thank you. I watch so little current television, I really don’t know what’s on anymore. It’s pretty much MeTV or Turner Classics for me.
