To fire a government employee, all you need is the will and the skill. This may sound simplistic given all the protections granted to civil servants and the complexities of federal human resources case law, but it’s true.

What does it mean to have the will? It means having the strength to remove a poor employee when it is the right thing to do.

Seems the US has lost it's will to be a state governed by law but by opinion and optics.

As someone who has fired unionized government employees, it takes following a process to the letter, knowing the union contracts, as well as the regulations of the agency. Documentation is essential, timely filing is essential, perseverance is essential. Patience is a main ingredient, as the steps of the process can sometimes take 2 years or more to play out.

If the employees actions justify their removal, it can be done., and the work place will be better for it.

In TX we used to have Sunset laws where a whole agency could get canned for being no longer useful.

It seems like black females in civil service are universally incompetent at best and guilty of anti white hate crimes at worst.

Their promotion to positions of authority over the competent folks is an artificial construct. Stuff like that is why everything is run like the DMV.

I have seen affirmative action at work. There were more than a few Black females promoted to supervisory positions to satisfy EEO complaints. Invariably they were incompetent and hated anyone of another race. That kind of stuff made for a terrible work environment.

We still have the sunset laws. They haven't been sunsetted.

Glad you have sunset laws and hope they are used often.

Part of the solution to this is outlawing unions for public sector workers.
They work for the people, they don’t have a right to hold the public at ransom demanding more money.
This ranges from public school teachers to the DMV to VA workers.

They have another group of agencies that are evaluated every regular legislative session which happens for 140 days every odd numbered year.
