I have an idea for a funny TV campaign ad about Jeb Bush. Below is the script and as you can see, it is easy to produce. It is a parody of the 1984 Reagan campaign ad "The Bear" which you can see HERE. My ad is called "The Tortoise" and is based on the fact that is how Jeb Bush refers to himself. It also references Donald Trump calling Jeb "low-energy." So here goes:
[We see a tortoise crawling slowly through the woods.]
NARRATOR: There is a tortoise in the woods. For some people, the tortoise is a big bore. Others dont see it at all. Some people say the tortoise is low-energy. Others say it is sleeping and comatose. Since no one can be sure whos right, isnt it smart to just yawn at the tortoise...if there is a tortoise?
[Last scene shows the tortoise flipped on its back with legs helplessly trying to walk in the air.]
Mitch McConnell could be in an ad exactly like this...
PING!
FYI
Okay, that clip MUST be used in the ad...
I thought of “The Bear” ad the moment I heard about Jeb referring to himself as “The Tortoise.”
I don’t remember that Reagan ad but it is great!
ROTFLOL - Outstanding idea!
Thanks for the ping.
I’m hoping someone out there can produce it. It is easy to make. Just find a tortoise, put it in the woods, and record it crawling and on its back for final scene. The BIG upside is that the Trump campaign might use it.
