This will be another interesting day in the market. I’m not in. Good luck to all speculators.
sovereign debt. its one reason rates rarely go up much any longer.
I saw a disturbing headline on Yahoo finance yesterday - it stated that the "Market was trying to avoid going into correction".
Funy how the Market can make such an effort - it also begs how much correction might be appropriate....
Relax folks - the Market is alive and well - healthy and doing just what it needs to do...... (do I really need the "/s" ?)
Top o' the morning to everyone! Yesterday's 'profit-taking' (down a % lower volume) seems now (if I didn't know any better) to be turning into a downside trend (see heatmap and NASDAQ in post 23). Trends for gold'n'silver are staying flat (right now at $1,144.43 and $14.69). We're also coming up to a begin-month data flood and today's warm-up is:
10:00 AM ISM Index
10:00 AM Construction Spending
5:00 PM Auto Sales
5:00 PM Truck Sales

Got cashed out on CVX and COP yesterday right before the close. Gain targets reached. I am cash.
Where is here?
Northern Nevada.
People live there?
Probably--there are enough people around who actually think that way.
But not quite.
The Real Estate Market Not In Recovery caught my eye because housing's supposed to be the 'in' sector w/ investors, but strangely none of my former favorites like Ryland Group RYL, KB Home KBH, D.R. Horton (DHI ) and PulteGroup (PHM) have come up on my stock screens of yet. At first glance the article didn't seem to have the hard info I was looking for to 'splain why housing's not what it seems but I'm still reading.

Yeah, I may have to 'tweak' back down a bit too today. Stock index futures plunge is accelerating, now at -2.39%.
People live there?
Of course, and we're not nut talking about Ben Cartwright and his kids.
Alas the ranch is gone. Used to be a tourist attraction at Tahoe. Behind the main entrance door hung Little Joe’s green coat and the living room detail was exactly as the set in Hollyweird.
Sri to hear they’ve moved.
The market is falling. In hindsight, I shouldn’t have made those speculations in tulip bulbs and the South Sea Company.
Down 350
BTU is down 15% today if you think coal has a future.
