Ormond Beach Police: Woman Attacked Man at Gas Station, Stole His Credit Card

A woman who police said attacked a man at a gas station because the store clerk would not give her free fuel has been identified and investigators are looking for her.

The suspect is 35-year-old Danielle Moher, Ormond Beach police said Thursday. Investigators said Moher is the suspect who entered the Texaco gas station convenience store at 6:15 a.m. Aug. 16 and told the clerk she had no money for gasoline.

When the clerk refused to give her free fuel, police said Moher went outside and struck and pushed down a 59-year-old man who was on his way back to his vehicle. Surveillance video from the gas station at 5 Yonge St., shows a heavyset woman beating the victim, then pushing him to the ground.

Investigators said the suspect took a credit card from the man and drove off, using it later in Holly Hill to purchase gas.

Court records show Moher of Daytona Beach has a lengthy criminal record, to include convictions for false 9-1-1 calls, grand theft and petty theft.

Anyone with information regarding Moher's whereabouts should call police at 386-677-0731. Anyone wishing to remain anonymous, can call Crime Stoppers, 888-277-TIPS (8477).

Yonge Street is Rt 1, I think, an area with a lot of 1920’s-1930’s buildings and a sketchy population.

UPDATE: Suspect James Colley was captured in a traffic stop, according to north Florida media reports, but no further information was released.

A statewide “be on the lookout” has been issued for a St. Augustine man who fatally shot his wife and a family friend, according to the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office.

James Colley, who graduated from Seabreeze High School in Daytona Beach in 1999, was identified by witnesses as the person who fled the scene after Amanda Colley, 36, and Lindsey Dobbins, 39, were killed at a St. Augustine home, St. Johns County sheriff’s spokesman Kevin Kelshaw said.

The St. Augustine Record reports that Colley broke into the home following a domestic dispute.

Colley was in court Thursday morning for violating an injunction and had been ordered to surrender his weapons and to stay away from one of the shooting victims.

St. Johns deputies responded to a home in the MuraBella neighborhood shortly after 10:30 a.m. Thursday after receiving multiple 9-1-1 calls regarding a shooting, Kelshaw said.

Deputies went to a home where James Colley, 35, had been living, located about 12 miles north of the crime scene, but no one was home, Kelshaw said.

Colley — described as 6 feet 2 inches, 220 pounds with brown hair, a goatee and blue eyes — was last seen wearing black slacks and a white button-down shirt, which may have blood on it, Kelshaw said. Colley may be driving a maroon, hard-top convertible G-37 Infinity.

If the suspect is seen, call 9-1-1, Kelshaw said.

And the time-worn rhetorical question arises: "Why was she loose?".

Fat, ugly, stupid and loose is no way to go through life girl! Since your comment touches on the double entendre I'll guess you meant not incarcerated.

That’s wrong on SO many levels. And, they’re drinking Bud Light. I’ve drank a lot of cheap beer, as well as swill of many origins, but Bud Light is, to me, just the nastiest tasting brew around. I wouldn’t drink it if it was free, and that says it all. Sometimes popularity is just the result of marketing, as it’s popular here with the college crowd. Right, Spuds McKenzie? Hello? Spuds? Uh-oh, dat dog’s dead—musta drank too much Bud Light...

Yup, but both would fit.
