He’s not entirely wrong. But it was artful rubbish.

Sir Keith is wrong ... by several light years ..

This may be considered sacrilegious around here, but IMO the Beatles were overrated. The Stones were much better. Still are.
To: nickcarraway
Still butthurt over a band that eclipsed them, and broke up in 1970.

I agree with the man who looks like he’s 250 years old.

(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either satire or opinion. Or both.)
To: nickcarraway
Both some great music. Both some junk.

Abbey Road was better.

Some. Mostly junk IMO. But to each their own.
To: nickcarraway
What does he think of this LP?

Keith was a heavy user of heroin at the time. It may have affected his judgment.
I always liked Sgt. Pepper.

The Stones were much better. Still are.
I'd probably put Exile on Main Street, Sticky Fingers, and Let It Bleed above most, if not all, Beatles albums.
To: nickcarraway
Oops I see he doesn’t like that one either. My bad.
Still I like “She’s a Rainbow” and “10,000 Light Years From Home”.

In terms of pure rhythm and blues rock and roll, you’re right. And there’s something to be said for sheer longevity. The Stones started out with an edge and kept it sharp for decades.
