Lion Kills Safari Guide in Same Zimbabwe Park Where Cecil Lived

Quinn Swales was taking a group of tourists on a walking safari in Hwange National Park on Monday morning when a lion suddenly charged, the company he was working for said.
“Quinn did everything he could to successfully protect his guests and ensure their safety,” the company, Camp Hwange, said on its Facebook page, adding that no other members of the group were hurt.
Swales, 40, died the morning of the attack from the injuries he suffered, it said.

I read a book a few years ago by a safari guide. I believe it was called “Walk Don’t Run.” It was very entertaining.
As I recall, he always guided in vehicles and always had a weapon.
I smell a big lawsuit against this apparently irresponsible safari service.

From the first *Cecil* report, I maintained....that the lion preserve relies on tourists. To guarantee that the preserve provides *lions* for tourist [cha-ching] to photograph/see, they allow the beasts to get close to the compound. Eventually, the lions, will do whatever lions do.
Ask Timothy Treadwell. It's a self-fulfilling prophesy.
