Another site I'd like visit at some future date is Lone Ranger rock. It's the famous rock in the opening scene where the Lone Ranger rides up and rears up Silver. Located at the old Iverson movie ranch in Chatsworth, Ca.
I did a Google earth search recently just to survey the surroundings. The area was pretty desolate at the time of filming but is now greatly developed. However, you can still walk up to the rock and take pictures.

"Maybe, but you can't do 75 on PCH." I don't know, a couple of Ferraris passed me one time, right around Big Sur, and they sure as heck weren't doing the speed limit :)
