At some future time there’ll be a border fence like that one... to keep us in!
Most of the cars are actually American name plates. The fact is that a tariff would drive those plants back into the States. That would employ American workers.
There are literally dozens of ways that we can force Mexico to pay for a wall. Almost all have no need for military force which should certainly NOT be ruled out.
After all they are intentionally invading our country by flooding it with their poorest and most illiterate citizens. It is a part of the Mexican governments most important monetary policies.
That is no less than an act of war. A quick trip into Mexico by 50,000 troops would both capture their oil fields and help to destroy the drug cartels. Call it a win-win. Most of Mexico is such a shit hole a few bombs would do it some good.
BTW: A U.S. President under the War Powers Act can take ANY Military action he deems necessary WITHOUT the approval of Congress for sixty days.
Mexico is our neighbor, they are NOT OUR FRIEND. They are the crack head neighbor in a wife beater shirt with a bunch of smelly dogs that constantly shit in your yard and regularly comes over to your house uninvited to help himself to whatever he likes from your icebox. They are the Cosmo Kramer of the Western Hemisphere without the charisma.
Believe you may be right.
If one is willing to tell Mexico to shut up and suck it up when it carps about “how bad we treat its criminals”, by pointing out truths and then shoving back at them, there are all sorts of ways to “make Mexico pay” and all would outrage the Left and the illegals to no end.
Probably via State Department US aid that goes to Mexico but that will be used to build the wall and pay for the Mexican illegal cost to the US.
Mexico is allowing it’s country to be used as an entry way to the US for illegals from all over the world. When they hit Mexico they can not stay (Mexico has borders) and they are escorted by the Mexican government to the US border. This is an ongoing assault on our Nation.
