The guy that put my septic system in said that a leaky faucet was hard on the system. Said that causes a lot of leach line failures.

I honestly don’t know much of ME history, but it seems like you guys have a heck of a Governor now.

I chuckle to myself recalling the local municipality's septic system inspector being hired to inspect my property prior to buying it. Pointing out to him the brick shithouse that was built when the farmhouse was built, he said to me, "Yeah, we can get you a permit for that"

Permit? To shit through a wooden seat with a hole in it into an concrete pit? Permit? Yeah, right!

You got a better chance of seeing God, buddy, let alone stepping foot on my property ever again.

LePage is great. The rest of the political and bureaucratic spectrum, not so much.

Most bugs by far are good bugs.

That is how it works, and it is way better “environmentally” than pouring our treated sewage into the rivers and bays.

This is the main reason why living in cities is destroying our oceans.

Septic systems totally recycle everything, naturally.

Neighbors years ago used a car as a septic tank.

System overload can be an issue. I pump mine once a year to be on the safe side.

They probably want us all to hook up to a town sewer, at the home owner's expense.
