Dear Mr. Trump,
I'd like to be a reporter at one of your press conferences, but since I can't I'll take the opportunity here and pretend like we're holding one with you. SINCE, I'D LIKE TO THINK YOU READ THIS FORUM NOW AND THEN.
I, along with many on this forum, are liking what we see with you, and in fact I'm really seriously thinking about contributing to your campaign, but I want to know some things.
I want to know if you are truly a true conservative. I want to know that your are not another Ross Perot, one of the most irresponsible and despicable people of the 20th Century.
I'M ASKING OUR FREE REPUBLIC FRIENDS TO ADD QUESTIONS TO THE LIST ALSO. SO HERE GOES.
1. ON SCOTUS APPOINTMENTS. You say you would select people like Thomas, Scalia and Alito. You say Jeb Bush talked his brother into picking Roberts. What do think about someone like Ted Cruz for SCOTUS?
2. Illegal immigration. Well, I think we know where you stand on this. So I'll pass on any question.
3. Handling questions from the press. You do so quickly kind of reminiscent of Truman and Kennedy. On the other hand, you're really good at it. Maybe it's a reflection of your New York, get to the point kind of upbringing?
4. Defense. You serious about a strong military? How about Duncan Hunter for Sec of Defense. Or what kind of person?
5. Economy. I'm taking for granted that you believe strongly in free enterprise. WEre you a follower of Milton Friedman perhaps? YOu going to lower taxes?
6. Abortion. I think you were once pro choice and now pro life? But I don't know. What I would like to know is what is your opinion of late term abortions and the selling of body parts, and taxes supporting this?
7. Obamacare. Bad news, right?
8. What's your thoughts about energy? WHat would you think about appointing someone like Sarah Palin for Dept of Energy with the idea of getting our energy resources in order then dismantling the dept all together.
9. IN fact, what's your idea about all these worthless depts we have that seem to do nothing?
10. USPS. Should we privatize this? How would we do so in a way that would not result in a lot of good people losing their jobs?
11. How about Carla Fiorina or Allen West for your running mate?
12. How about Marco for Sec of State? Who was the best SOS in your life time? Who was the best president?
13. How about Ann Coulter for your press secretary or Megyn Kelly?
14. How about Mitt in our Treasury dept?
15. Lastly, if you ran as a third party and that resulted in Hillary getting elected, wouldn't you feel bad?
In short, convince us that you're a genuine conservative and not a phony.

I like your ‘interview’ very well put....and answers we need to hear from Trump....
Nice rant...but if you listen to his speeches, which you have not...he doesn’t need your money...and tells his audience to save their money. (I heard/saw this in person). He will be different than anything we have seen...some things we will like, other things not so much. But compared to the other politicians, and Hillary and Obama? I’ll take my chances with him. He will not change because you or I want him to change something, he is what he is...take it all or enjoy four more years of devastation with Hillary. With the faults he may have, he is a better choice than McCain and Romney who rarely maintained a constant position on anything. And unlike them, he is not a loser.

I’m liking Trump more and more. If the Going On Progressive Party nominates a Bush over Cruz, I’m all in for Trump as a tertiary party candidate.
Heck, I might even throw my hat in for his VP. I was born in America, I am well over 35, and I never lived in another nation like Obama or Jarrett.
Back in ‘08, nobody at my church or the shooting range wanted McCain. After he announced Palin, McCain/Palin signs started popping up everywhere. As a Christian and Texan, I could pull the south and the religious right that Trump couldn’t.
I’m between contract jobs at the moment, and I promised my wife I’d find a job (or invent something to make us wealthy) before my unemployment runs out this fall.

I have listened to his speeches. I like so far what I hear, in fact it’s great entertainment on the way to work, but I’m skeptical also. I recall Ross Perot.
We’ve run the worst people possible. The current are ALL heads above Hillary, Obama and the rest. I like Cruz, Walker and even Ben Carson. Maybe Cruz the best.
I’d like to hear how he’d respond to the questions I raise.

Ted Cruz would be a great running mate, then he could succeed Trump.
He is amazing. He could run with any of the others, and it would be a great presidency.
HE MUST AT SOME POINT MEND THE HURT FEELINGS, AND UNITE EVERY OTHER CANDIDATE BEHIND HIM.
I actually could see him winning California and especially his home state of New York!!!!!
