BALTIMORE, Md. - Baltimore police are investigating the second triple shooting in the city within 24 hours after three shooting victims walked into an area hospital.

Officers responded to a local hospital Wednesday night where medical staff directed them to three men suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Two of the victims, ages 21 and 29, had injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.

A third victim had a gunshot wounds to the chest and was listed in critical condition Thursday morning.

Detectives determined that the three men were shot in the 2000 block of N. Forest Park Avenue in northwest Baltimore.

Minutes before the shooting, three teens were injured in an unrelated shooting in east Baltimore.

There had been 175 homicides and 347 shootings as of Thursday morning.

Police are asking anyone with information to call 410-396-2488.

I'm thinking of calling the number there at the bottom and telling the police that it was a young black male that committed both shootings. just trying to help you know.

And I'm sure the MSM will be all over this story just like the theater shooting.

It is interesting how anti-police the left is. I remember when Clinton took office one of his early big accomplishments was to put a bunch more police on the streets nationwide. Am I remembering that wrong? Have we tanked so far that Bill Clinton is starting to sound conservative? UGH!

Let me add that I am not exactly pro-police. They can be corrupt just like anyone, only they have guns and power that make it worse. But they are not ALL corrupt and they are not ALL out to get blacks. Those that abuse their power are happy to abuse everyone, not just blacks.

The federal government has no business putting police on the streets in the first place.

Bill Clinton recently came out and said that was one of his biggest mistakes if you can believe it. It was one of the only good things he ever did.

The police have just issued an all points bulletin for two Confederate flags, armed and highly dangerous, muttering things hateful things like, “Cut taxes” and “Honest labor is good”.

No, but they can give block grants to the states to pay for more LEOs and prisons and prison guards, etc which is what Clinton did IIRC.

Yeah you’re right. In that it was federal, it was not conservative. But other than that, being tough on crime is usually thought to be conservative.

In terms of gun control “strictness”, Maryland is ranked number 4. About 78% of all violent crime in Maryland occurrs in Baltimore. Why isn’t all that gun control decreasing gun violence in Baltimore? What could it be?

It is interesting how anti-police the left is.

They've been anti-cop as long as i can remember. Keep in mind the high school and college-age kids of the late '60s and '70s are currently running the government (into the ground) and cops busting them for drugs back then is, to quote Lurch, seared into their memories.

The big difference between Montpelier Vt and Baltimore MD isn’t their level of gun control, it is their available number of criminals. Criminals, not guns drive crime stats.

A block grant is like giving a transfusion in the right arm using blood taken from the left arm and spilling a lot of it in the process. A net loss.

Federal overhead for managing the money taken from the states to be given to the states wastes quite a bit of the money being transferred. And there’s also the money that must be spent to monitor (aka control) the recipients’ use of the money.

That won’t work because the officers were instructed to give all involved room to shoot and destroy!

We clearly need more prisons and prison guards one way or the other.

I wonder how long that dimwitted Mayor survives, let alone that incompetent corrupt State Attorney.

Then they should be paid for by the states that need them, not the feds.

I pay a lot of taxes and I have no problem with that money being used to build more prisons to house the growing population of criminals that represents a clear and present danger to the country and the constitution.
