Truthfully, I don’t post personal info and only posted this to illustrate how dangerous the job was even 40 years ago.

The Cliff version of the story...young Highway Patrolman makes a stop in a rural area late at night. Found dead a several hours later. His gun still holstered. They caught the perp a couple of days later. It was a long time ago...but it still causes me grief.
