Trying to set a precedent.
He’s been trying to do that in a couple of areas. That’s what the .223 ammo ban attempt was about. Obama tried to get gun control after Sandy Hook, starting with background checks, it didn’t fly and he said he would keep chipping away at it. Background checks already in place have made no difference...
This is just one avenue he’s trying to exploit. It’s already an issue with vets apparently, according to reports I’ve read thousands have been sent letters by the VA telling them they can no longer own firearms due to PTSD.
Once the precedent is set, it’s easy to move on to the next ban. “I got that one so this one is ok too.” Soon as the ammo ban attempt by ATF failed, a couple of Democrats in Congress introduced bills to ban ammo. I haven’t seen any further reports, so I’m assuming those failed, not sure.

So far, no action has been taken, so I assume those bills are tabled or in a committee somewhere.
That's just laughable....
Why would I?
No record of it.
I later found that gun, though.....
I'd laid it down in the garage...one day, and found it 1 hour later.
Well....you must not have guns to pay taxes.
That’s what I’m thinking but haven’t seen any news articles since I originally found out about it, a few days after the ATF ban failed. The one I linked is not the only one, it was a different website where I found the original story, that’s just one of the first that popped up in a google search.
You'll see that only in your dreams. In this world, Nobama will be celebrated for his tyranny. The Gibsmedats chant his name as if it were holy.
You are right the SS or any other Fed agency better not be the ones deciding competency. That is strictly the purview of the courts.
