I saw this billboard from the Pennsylvania Turnpike today.
Seems divisive, to me. Seems like the PC gods would never countenance a recruiting poster that celebrated white values. Seems like the empire is recruiting foreigners for its legions, in preference to its own, or because its own don't want to serve.
The picture isn't mine. I found it online at this Kansas source, dated three years ago, the author reacting much as I did.
But the tin gods still think it's a good idea.
Marines are now celebrating family drinking and brawls in parks, drinking to falling down drunk and then showing macha and attempting to drive, playing loud music at all times of the day, and trampling all over our immigration laws?

Maybe from a hundred years ago. That ain’t who are doing that in the parks around where I am, nowadays.
I’m not sure if the billboard I saw had that website on it; I was zipping along with prevailing traffic.
Certainly a close affiliation, in any case.
Ethnic values? WTH are those?
I would say Hispanic culture, exemplified by our neighbor to the south, values courage, toughness, and confidence in men, traits that belong to a Marine.
It also values loyalty to clan and village over that to country, and aggression, including taking advantage of those who let themselves be taken advantage of, and sexual aggression.
To generalize the good and the bad.
What do they claim are different about those values compared to others?
Since Hispanic values include family, church and the defense of them, history will show they have been good soldiers.
...and molesting their child relatives...
...and needing permanent affirmative action preferences for college admission and employment.
It is part of the minority outreach. I don’t really have that big a deal with it. I mean they still have to pass the stringent requirements to get in. The billboard is just letting Hispanics know that the Marines are available. Most white kids already know that the Marines are available because the Marine Recruiters go to the schools that white kids go to.

This appears to be consistent with all the branches of the service.
It's that Latin Machismo that usually attracted them to the Corps.
The only thing that would piss us off was when they would speak Spanish back and forth in formation. Since it was the pre-p.c. Corps we would pelt them with stereo types when they did this. Wet back being a favorite.
the tribelization of America is turning this country into a mirror on the war torn and racist world around us.
Unfortunately we may no longer have the political or cultural strength to encorage assimilation into one culture where all people are the same but we must try. Otherwise over the next 100 years all of America will look like the black community today perpetually at war with itself and everyone else around it in a never ending entitlement driven rage.
Insolently it is likely Democrats will have a permanent hold on the presidency in the next 10 years, and power not long after, as these warring ethic tribes are self-destructively poor and therefore government depended democrats.
If we have the power to change any part of the culture today we won’t tomorrow, and thus the death spirel of the American experiment will be quite out of our hands to stop. There will be no choice but to focus upon saving what is left of our population and culture from persecution by a savage and greedy majority. Probably requiting secession into a free state to start over again.
My father served under Lt. Gen. Pedro Del Valle, USMC who commanded the 1st Marine Div. for the amphibious invasion of Okinawa.
