Obama: Federal gov't will integrate races into wealthy communities

President Obama said Saturday he will use the power of the federal government to pressure communities to integrate low-income minorities into affluent areas.

Obama said his administration is implementing a new rule that will require communities to frequently review the racial and socio-economic makeup of local neighborhoods and regularly report the results to the federal government.

"Just a few weeks ago, the Supreme Court ruled that policies segregating minorities in poor neighborhoods, even unintentionally, are against the law," Obama said, referencing a ruling on the Fair Housing Act largely ignored by the media due to attention on the Obamacare and gay marriage rulings.

The Fair Housing Act was passed under President Lyndon B. Johnson to initiate his failed "Great Society," which sought to eliminate poverty through a series of government programs. Critics charge that its programs, which included housing projects in cities and welfare payments to single mothers, led to the destruction of the black family.

"In some cities, kids living just blocks apart lead incredibly different lives," said Obama in his weekly Saturday address. "They go to different schools, play in different parks, shop in different stores and walk down different streets."

"And often, the quality of those schools and the safety of those parks and streets are far from equal — which means those kids aren't getting an equal shot in life," he said.

Besides the regular reports from local communities, Obama mentioned one other specific way his administration plans to equalize neighborhoods.

"We're using data on housing and neighborhood conditions to help cities identify the areas that need the most help," he said. By opening this data to everyone, Obama argued "everyone in a community — not just elected officials –— can weigh in. If you want a bus stop added near your home, or more affordable housing nearby, now you'll have the data you need to make your case."

The Department of Housing and Urban Development issued a ruling Wednesday that would withhold funding from communities if they fail to provide data on racial segregation patterns, set goals and track results.

"This overreaching new regulation is an attempt to extort communities into giving up control of local zoning decisions and reengineer the makeup of our neighborhoods," Rep. Paul Gosar, R., Ariz., said as he introduced several pieces of legislation designed to prevent the implementation of the new HUD rule.

"Local government is designed so people can have an input on those things that matter most to them," Rick Manning, the president of Americans for Limited Government, said in an interview with CNN. "The federal government is ill-equipped to superimpose their vision of what local communities should look like, because they don't have their fingers on the pulse of those communities."

"Just as the president has used the DOJ, IRS and DHS as a political weapon, he has now expanded his arsenal to include HUD as a way of punishing neighborhoods that don't fall in line with his liberal agenda," said Gosar.

It’s not enough that our taxes go to subsidize housing.
Now we have to pay to have our own communities destroyed.
Not all that different from paying for the bullets used in our own executions.

Have no doubt this is about flipping voting blocks. If you are in a long-time Republican neighborhood (no matter what race your neighbors are) in an important state like Texas, you should be very conscious of what is going on around you, what is being proposed and what is being built, because they are targeting those neighborhoods. If you’re in a white, walled-in enclave in Southern California or Massachusetts, your neighborhood is safe.

There are lots of communities, especially in wealthy suburbs (Chapaqqua NY) or in “fly over country”, who do not have their fair share of minorities. Most minorities tend to congregate in neighborhoods where they are the majority.
Whether this segregation by race or religion is caused by ties to their culture, by poverty, or consanguinity, this must not stand. The Federal government must immediately proceed to develop:
1. A department in HUD to analyze the census figures and determine exactly which cities, towns, and suburbs are lacking their fair share of minorities. These areas will be designated as Evil White Enclaves (EWEs).
2. The results will be certified as ‘disparate outcomes’ by HUD and the DOJ and cash penalties will be levied on these EWEs to fund desegregation efforts.
3. A dispersal program will be instituted to transport minorities, by force if necessary, to new homes in the EWE communities.
4. Individual minority members may enter into the Minority Assimilation Credit Exchange for Racially Evolved Tomorrows for Everyone (MACERATE). EWEs can buy credits to comply with their required percentage of minority residences.
4. Multiracial Activist Designated Democratic Organizations for Governmental Supremacy (MADDOGS) will buy housing in EWEs. If housing is not available, the MADDOGS are authorized to confiscate them.
5.The Federal Government will assume control over the EWEs governing bodies, supervising their compliance until they cease bleating about Constitutional rights.

Can someone please explain what funds HUD has provided to communities, in which any community who accepts HUD funds has to desegregate?
I would think upper class neighborhoods have no need for HUD funding, and therefore are immune to this.
I live in a 99.9% white upper class neighborhood. No bus transportation near us. Property taxes are high. I have not read of any HUD funding going toward my neighborhood.

Since this “policy” is going to occur it is time that Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, West Los Angeles, Encino and Tarzana get their quota of Section 8 Negroes.

Don't forget the OC....that is big money there. Oh and Napa and Monterrey and rich sections of San Francisco. Oh heck throw in Palm Springs...that is a wealthy area....and then on the other coast Greenwich, Kennybunkport, Hyanisport....I know the Kennedy's would welcome them with open arms.....in fact what about adding a few small Section 8 apartments right on the compound....I doubt we would hear a complaint out of them.

those kids aren't getting an equal shot in life," he said.

They aren't getting an equal shot in life if baby daddy isn't around. What's Obama going to do about that...

The Federal Reserve’s power to print money, create and monetize any quantity of government debt, and to manipulate interest rates - means progressive/left government will always have the funds to push these social-engineering schemes.

Conservatives will lose every major economic and, yes - every social battle as well, as long as we have our present monetary and financial system.

This turns the Fair Housing Act on its head. That act, at its heart, said that in selling your house, ability to pay was the only criteria you could consider. Now we are getting back to using racial criteria in home sales. Property rights were not abolished in the FHA they were just limited. This new program pretty much eliminates them.

They bused the black kids from the inner city out to the...schools where I went...They tore up our school. They started fights trying to get kicked out of school. It was not a good situation.

The same thing happened in the central Ohio public schools in the 70s. They bused black kids from the inner city to our suburban white schools. I saw the first graffiti carved into desks that I'd ever seen. There was other vandalism that I'd never seen before. The black kids just kept to themselves, so if "integration" was the goal here, it blatantly failed.

First, the government wants to control who can work where and under what circumstances. Then they want to control your money in various ways. They want to control your thoughts in retraining you how to think and what to value. But that has not been enough. Now, they want to get right into your immediate environment---your living space--where you go, at least temporarily, to get away from the effects of the former. If people work hard in order to afford housing in a nice, clean, safe neighborhood, why should the government have the right to dump people who are NOT willing to work hard (or work at all) into such neighborhoods to despoil them for all? It seems to me the antithesis of "The American Dream". You make a nice place to live for yourself and your family, and the government dumps the very people you seek to avoid right next door. Your kids get to learn what being beaten up feels like, learn new words you'd rather they didn't, and acquire habits you don't want in your home. The express lane to the ruin of America.

By spreading out the Negros, wouldn’t it diminish their power? How many Black representative would you have if Blacks are evenly divided amongst congressional districts?

It would, but the goal is to make all communities to vote more like the inner city. Note that is not about fighting segregation, thus the keyword is "low-income," as the goal is to turn Republican voting districts into Democrat ones.

Black and Latino's have been moving to the suburbs for all long time as they earn a higher standard of income, increasing the percentage that will vote Republican. The Democrats have the low income inner city sewed up, so nowthey must go after suburbia.

Note also that under the premise that segregating minorities in poor neighborhoods is against the law, then since homosexuality is often defined as race, thus one can expect a call that communities must have a certain quota of of homosexual "families", thus sodomizing more of suburbia.

Do you remember the scene in Dr Zhivago when he returns from the civil war to find many people living in his house. When asked by the commie apparatchik if he had a problem, he replied “It seems more fair, comrade”. This is where these LIB asshats and moonbats are headed. F’em.
