They claim the cover-up has betrayed the forgotten victims.
The authors said: “Disturbingly, the truth has remained hidden thanks to an extraordinary cover-up which has obscured the incompetence of West Yorkshire Police, who missed repeated chances to bring him to justice - Sutcliffe was interviewed and dismissed as a suspect nine times.
“The force compounded its bungling by resisting attempts of other forces to question Sutcliffe over similar unsolved murders in their areas.
“They even failed to properly reinvestigate cold cases on their own patch.”
Eve Stratford was found dead in the bedroom of her east London flat back in March 1975.
Her hands were tied behind her back with a stocking and a belt and her blue nightie had been ripped open.
At the time the case was front page news in the Daily Mirror. Eve was a ‘bunny girl’ hostess at the famous Park Lane’s Playboy Club and had even posed naked in the magazine Mayfair.

Wasn’t there a Hitchcock film based on something similar? I am not sure I think the movie name was Frenzy or something like that.
Maybe some day someone will write a tell-all about the Muslim rape gangs and their dhimmi enablers.

Was real life similar to Frenzy? Well, probably not. In Frenzy the murders are committed by strangulation, and the MO of the serial killer is to use a necktie. Pretty tame stuff compared to Sutcliffe's brutal, ritualistic crimes. And Frenzy really focuses more on a "wrong man" theme than the serial murders themselves.

Sutcliffe's crimes were horrific, and yet, incredibly the Brits are considering transferring him from a public facility for the criminally insane to a private psychiatric hospital. Even more strangely, we get this, which is always a head-scratcher for me: "Sutcliffe reportedly receives considerable fan mail from female admirers."

And the man was a bookie... I guess we’ll have to read the book to see why he was killed. My guess is jealousy.

Serial killers are often idolized by really, really odd females. Bundy had a whole posse of groupies, many of whom actually did their hair and makeup to look more like most of his victims.
While aware of the phenomenon and of many particular cases, including Ted’s, it brings me no closer to anything but, as I said, the head scratching phase. And I don’t think “really, really odd” quite covers it.
It was the trousers.
Head scratcher? Fan mail (and court groupies) for Richard Ramirez, Los Angeles’ night stalker were even reported on at the time. Women would drive to court hearings — some of them married.
I remember seeing a television interview with the husband of one of the female groupies of Ramirez. She went to each court appearance. He said he was “OK” with her behavior.
