FULL TITLE: Baker Has a Message for the Gov’t Official Who Just Fined Him $135,000 for Declining a Gay Wedding Cake: ‘He’s Doing This With the Wrong Christian

Just hours after Oregon officials announced that Aaron and Melissa Klein, owners of Sweetcakes by Melissa, would be fined $135,000 for their refusal to bake a cake for a lesbian wedding, Aaron Klein had a message for government officials: He has no plans of backing down.

“He wants to silence anyone who opposes his point of view,” Klein told TheBlaze, speaking specifically about Oregon Labor Commissioner Brad Avakian, who has spearheaded the case against the couple. “Unfortunately, he’s doing this with the wrong Christian, because I fight back.”

Klein also delivered a message to Americans and business leaders about why he believes that his case is monumentally important.

“For years, we’ve heard same-sex marriage will not affect anybody,” he said. “I’m here firsthand to tell everyone in America that it has already impacted people. Christians, get ready to take a stand. Get ready for civil disobedience.”

I just located the crowd funding site to assist these freedom lovers: “https://www.continuetogive.com/helpsweetcakesbymelissa."; There are more than a few ‘anonymous’ donations, no doubt in fear of other hate (gay) groups attacking their livelihoods. The only place many libtards can find employment is in the government. And once they gain power, they force THEIR opinions, lifestyles, debauchery on the rest of us. God bless and keep safe this family.

He can file in federal court. Happens fairly often, see the Waco shootout where there is a federal deprivation of rights suit copending with the state criminal prosecution.

Hopefully. But the process defines the next steps as conciliation, fat chance, and then a state administrative law judge. I'm not what they could go to a federal court with that would cause it to short-circuit the state judiciary.

So, I'm assuming the $135,000 fine was duly established after their day in court?

It says "due process of law" not "day in court". If the law says that the administrative agency can levy the fine then the legal process has been duly followed.

Christians, get ready to take a stand. Get ready for civil disobedience.”

Yep take a stand. Get pissed and start at the grass roots. Nominate and elect leaders with Christian values starting at the local level. Get Christian men and women elected into every office from mayor to dog catcher and the school board in between. In many of the local elections, voter turnout is minimal. Network and encourage politically inactive church members get out and vote. Haul them to the polls if you must. Those few extra votes can make a difference in the final outcome.

You must dedicate some time and effort to save America. Think of it as a new hobby. Then as you learn and experience more about the political process, move on to the state elections, then the federal elections. Beware you will learn things about the political process you never expected.

Of course, if you don't give a damn and don't care whether our nation is drastically changing in the wrong direction, you probably won't be concerned until the Swat team knocks down your door in the middle of the night and takes you away. Then you will have to ponder how to handle the situation alone.

As for civil disobedience, that is up to you. There are various types and degrees of civil disobedience. If you are a group person, everything from using our first amendment right to free speech by marching and protesting, burning politically correct flags (like hippie, rainbow, and other liberal causes), displaying banners on the interstate overpasses, to honking our horns on the freeway on the hour every hour. As a group, I'm sure there are other things creative minds can conceive that fall into the civil disobedience category. Look around, there are book store signings, abortion clinics, and other opportunities to protest. Maybe a good book burning of the liberal media trash is in order.

If you are a lone wolf, everything not so legal is available to you such as tagging or turning over stationary objects, spitting on people and sidewalks, leaving bags of dog droppings at selected sites, burning crosses on the white devils lawns (don't do this to black people cause it's racist), and on and on. Just to be clear, I'm not recommending this approach yet as it may get you fined or worse. Just because liberals are racists, whine, protest, riot, destroy property, and loot all the time, we as Christians must remain above this. We must act civilly as well as morally in these matters. You know you want to do it, but don't.

Lastly, if you are a James Bond type, you might want to join and become a member of the opposition. Go undercover and become a spy for the conservative cause. The Democratic party, the ALCU, the NAACP, the ACLU, Planned Parenthood, or the Black Panthers beckon. Note in many situations, it may behoove you to have a tan or present yourself as an abused minority. If you tend to dress conservatively or only speak English, do not attempt this. If you are a undisclosed conservative Christian minority you'll be in-like-Flinn. You are their worst fear.

I hope everyone will be able to discern the satire from the seriousness I have presented in my response. As for me, the judges and lawyers better hope I'm not called to public jury duty or seated on a grand jury.

It’s an unconstitutional gag order, bring a civil 1983 claim, and allege deprivation of rights under color of law (18 USC 242). Short circuit the entire state apparatus, plus you get to drag the state administrative agency into a federal court.

Is this Avakian guy any relation to the Maoist Chairman Bob who sends his rent-a-rioters everywhere to wreak havoc?

Exactly. Jesus said, “Occupy until I come”. “ Occupy” is war terminology.

I wondered about that, too. Isn't there a constitutional guarantee of "reasonable bail"?

Hell, these people were fined WAY out of proportion to any "crime" they might have committed.

$135,000? Isn't that about right for bail on a big-time felony?

If I remember, the aggrieved couple came up with sixty five different types of mental anguish and physical ills they were suffering from being turned down.

I think the fine is based on that. So many dollars per ill.

A nice Christian baker in my small conservative town has been targeted in the past, before the SCOTUS, and may be again in future. I spoke with her recently. She said first she was asked, and refused, to bake an “erotic” cake. Subsequently, she inadvertently baked a cake for a gay couple. The groom came in to place the order, joking that he’d been given cake duty. He made a big deal about it being a small wedding, being budget conscious and wanting something simple. He picked a nice design from her photo book with plastic bells on top, no little people. A few days later, the cake was picked up by the ...um...other groom. This was a few months ago.

That doesn’t sound like they were targeted. It sounds like they were customers.

I am no fan of gay marriage, but that sounds like way it should be done. No in anyone’s face and not asking the bakery to do anything out of the ordinary.

Roberts, being the man with no moral compass and lacking completely in any character, will do as his masters tell him to do. He is without merit of any sort.

It is becoming obvious that homosexuals are pulling many tricks like this to entrap Christians. Here are a few tricks that I have heard about:

1) A Catholic adoption service was shut down by two lesbians in Massachusetts a couple of days after same sex marriage was passed. This was obviously planned before the same sex law was passed. Did the lesbians try another non-religious adoption services first? No doubt they went right for the Catholic agency because they were targeted for their religious beliefs. If a detective can prove that the lesbians passed over other adoption services and targeted the Catholic adoption service, that is religious targeting. THAT IS RELIGIOUS DISCRIMINATION.

2) A Catholic school was set upon by two lesbians who put a small child in that school. When the school learned that they were lesbians, the school had the child removed. The lesbians tried to start trouble by going to a local newspaper to cause problems for the Catholic school. The should have known that the Catholic school would not accept them and probably new it but they went to the school to force their will upon them.

3) Various bakeries, florist shops and other businesses that deal with weddings have had homosexuals come into their businesses asking if they do same sex marriage. The invariable seem to find the Christian business first time out because they always take them to court. Is it that they just happened to get lucky and find that Christian shop first time at bat or did they go to other shops first overlooking shops that agreed to do business with them? Were they “Christian shopping”? Passing up other shops who agreed to do work for them just so that they could religiously persecute the Christian shop owners? THIS IS RELIGOUS DISCRIMINATION AND PERSECUTION!

4) The Saint Patrick’s Day Parade in Boston has been gutted and destroyed because of the strong arm tactics used by the homosexuals over the years. The gays are allowed to have their parade even though they do outrageous and illegal things in open air but the Irish cannot have their parade in honor of their patron saint. This too is discrimination and is the homosexuals had not gone before their cherry-picked liberal judges they would not have been allowed to disrespect the religious values of the Catholic people of Boston. If you want to see what the pathetic St. Patrick’s Day Parade looks like today go on to www.massresistance.com.

The Supreme Court mocked God with their abortion decision which resulted in 50 million abortions of innocent children. We should bring up this number over and over again, rub their smug arrogant noses in it over and over again. These are the people who think they are above us the common people yet they have loosed barbarism on this nation. Abortion is nothing more than human sacrifice under a modern disguise.

There you go Supreme Court, you have brought America back to the ages of savagery.

No way.

Do not pay that fine.

Instead, you sue Oregon on 8th A grounds, and you sue the commissioner separately in civil court for damages arising from his capricious use of his office to deprive someone of their liberty and livelihood.

Send it all the way up the chain again, and watch that shitty court in DC decline it.

THEN it will be time for the ammo box.

It is always a good idea to place you house under the homestead act which protects your personal home from lawsuits.
