Since you mentioned the military, I will list Cruz's accomplishments in support of our military and veterans. My son, a Marine who gave his life defending this country, would have been proud to serve under President Cruz.

Stronger, Safer America

army-2015

A safer, stronger America safeguards freedom at home and across the globe. That’s why Ted Cruz has fought tirelessly to defend our nation’s servicemen and women, to restore America’s leadership in the world, and to secure our border and streamline our legal immigration system.

•Opposed the Obama Administration’s dangerous deal with Iran that would allow Iran to pursue nuclear weapons.

•Spearheaded legislation passed unanimously by Congress and signed by the President to prevent known terrorists from entering the United States as ambassadors to the United Nations.

•Successfully pressured the Obama Administration to lift its unprecedented FAA ban on flights to Israel after exposing the move as, in essence, an economic boycott of our strongest ally in the Middle East. The ban was lifted within 36 hours of the Senator’s actions

•Championed the Expatriate Terrorist Act to prevent Americans who join ISIS from returning to the United States to commit acts of terror at home.

•Introduced legislation passed by the Senate to provide rewards for information leading to the arrest of Hamas terrorists responsible for the murder of American and Israeli teenagers.

•Led the charge on a bipartisan resolution passed by the Senate to condemn Hamas’ use of civilians as human shields. •Authored legislation to allow victims of the Fort Hood terrorist attack to be awarded the Purple Heart and appropriate benefits.

•Joined Texas and 25 other states in a lawsuit to stop President Obama’s illegal executive amnesty.

•Authored legislation to triple the size of the U.S. Border Patrol.

•Authored legislation to streamline and simplify our legal immigration system by consolidating segmented visas, creating real and transparent caps, eliminating the diversity visa lottery, and treating all immigrants equally by eliminating the per-country caps.

•Urged the strictest enforcement of laws punishing those with prior felony convictions who entered the country illegally in a U.S. Supreme Court Brief in Lopez v. Gonzales.

•Authored legislation to ensure that members of our military deployed to combat the spread of Ebola are entitled to the same tax benefits as those serving in a combat zone.

•Promoted the strengthening of existing law to prevent discrimination or retaliation against military service members who appropriately express their religious faith.

•Represented more than 3 million veterans before the U.S. Supreme Court in Salazar v. Buono, defending the constitutionality of the Mojave Desert Veterans Memorial. Along with co-counsel Kelly Shackelford of the Liberty Institute, then-Solicitor General Cruz fought for The American Legion, The Veterans of Foreign Wars, The Military Order of the Purple Heart, and the American Ex-Prisoners of War. In April 2010, the Supreme Court handed down a 5-4 decision in favor of the veterans.

•Defended the constitutionality of the federal Solomon Amendment, which requires universities receiving federal funds to grant U.S. military recruiters equal access to campuses, notwithstanding the universities’ opposition to the military’s policies concerning sexual orientation.

•Authored legislation to close a loophole in the federal “Motor Voter” law that preempts states from enforcing requirements that would ensure those registered to vote are U.S. citizens

I agree with this, and I believe both candidate have similar thoughts.

The only complication would be Sarah Palin, if she enters this race in the next couple of months, look out.

Otherwise I am all for everything you said.

Trump is on the cutting edge! He deserves a place at the debates even if the Karl Roves of the world hate it. He and Ted Cruz could turn this nation around. I support a Trump/Cruz ticket—or— a Cruz/Trump Ticket (with Dr. Carson as Surgeon General and Sec of State Sarah Palin!)

If you are willing to trust a Trump over a Cruz, then you have issues and probably shouldn’t be voting in such a serious election.

I don't trust him either, but I'll vote for him in any polls that show up just to needle the GOP-e.

You need to buy a clue. I love Ted Cruz and IMO the only two people that can win the general election are him or Trump. But where is Cruz polling? Not too great at the moment.

Trump is polling well because he has a message that resonates and he has excellent name recognition. On top of that he lives rent free in the MSM’s and leftards heads.

People are tired of being out of work and they are tired of the millions of illegal alien criminals pouring over the
border and infecting our society like roaches.

Don’t blame Donald Trump because he’s the only candidate willing to stand up and say what needs to be said and then refuse to walk it back.

Likely Trump will be the reason Jeb Bush will fail. That alone is doing us all a big favor. If Trump can just edge Walker and Rubio off the stage then he and Cruz and can figure it out down the line.

And that is a “serious” assessment of the situation.

Trump is the man who can get the job of reversing the evil of the foreign exchange student’s years in the White Hut where he busily worked towards changing this nation. He was changing it into a cowering pansy afraid of phony things like global warming and rising ocean levels.

He can reverse the placing of sodomy practitioners atop pedestals to be admired and congratulated for sticking their pee-pees up other men’s poo-poos!

Perhaps he can kick the Soopremes in the ass!

Perhaps he can kick the ‘moderates’ and left of center Republicrats in the ass!

He and Ted Cruz could conceivably make mincemeat out of what the Mau Mau has done to this now pitiful nation!

On thing Donald can’t do is to reverse the damage that Obozo has done to the already corrupted negro families.

Go Donald! Your country needs you!

I believe that Cruz and Trump will stick together and hopefully weld themselves into a team that sweep the nation!

What is wrong with the stupid GOP? Whether you love or hate Trump or disagree with his tone, they need to wake up to what the people want for a change. He’s surging for a reason. His message is obviously resonating with the people.

"Cruz is the best we have for POTUS"

Cruz made a huge miscalculation when he voted to fast track TPP TiSA and one other secret trade deal. Only a globalist NWO guy owned by big money or someone not up on the issue would do so. He flip flopped so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt as say he was not up on the issue. But Cruz is beginning to look like someone playing to smart for his own good. I want to hear some plain talk, no weasel words from him. And I like to see a little fire in the belly, frankly I think Cruz needs more experience I don't think he is ready to be POTUS.

I think I would take someone like Trump, not a professional DC politician to clean up the corruption in D.C. For that and stooping the illegal invasion of the USA he deserves serious consideration this election cycle. Maybe he is not a "real" conservation on lots of issues but if he can stop the invasion and clean up the corruption he's the best hope for the nation right now.

Maybe this is all theater, time will tell but if Trump is serious he is going to get a lot of votes. Lots of folks that have given up and stopped voting will vote. Lot of democrats that are just as pissed off as we are will vote Trump too.

People talk about Ross Perot (sp) but had he not revealed himself to be a total flake by dropping out in 92 he might have pulled off a huge upset. He lost just about all support by dropping out and then getting back in for the most ridiculous reasons, flake. Trump might turn out to be a flake too, we'll see.

Perot was a socialist. He made his bucks by selling computer systems to his buddy Cuomo for the NY welfare system.

Trump is an outspoken entrepreneur. Exactly what’s needed to erase all the turds left by the idiot Muslim whose IQ falls under 110.
