The Rats lost in 2014, but actually they won. The sleeping giant is us and we’re being pushed around by both parties. If Cruz wins in 2016, little will change.

IMHO, we are witnessing the end of white Western culture.

The left may well regret this terrible week, but so will all decent people in America. This was a devastating defeat for freedom and for the rule of law. Even if we elect a real American as president in 2016, the precedent has been set. The Constitution and the words of our laws now mean nothing at all; we have a king who can interpret anything or nothing into the written documents that used to support our government.

The federal government has lost its last shreds of legitimacy, and all we have left is the rule of force. This will cost us all. If the president in 2021 says that “the right of the people” doesn’t include Jews or Christians (or gays), then those groups will be marched to wherever they are sent. If the president in 2021 says that the Second Amendment is not an individual right, then Civil War II will commence unless 80 million individuals voluntarily disarm when ordered. If the president in 2021 says that by Executive Amnesty, all illegals are now citizens and registered voters, then the precedent has been set. The law is whatever a majority of justices claim it was intended to be, regardless of the words on the law. This is terrible for everyone, and the schadenfreude of watching members of picked liberal groups as the first ones wiped out will not balance the fact that we will all be vulnerable.

The fact is that most blacks and Latinos are against gay marriage.

But they're democrats first, and they know dems are always going to give soothing words to their wants.

A bridge too far. Now the Democrats and the SCOTUS OWN the “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010”, lock, stock, and rain barrel.

Neither House of Congress should take up any legislation to repair the fail points on this poorly written and ambiguous piece of garbage, unless it is to send up a proposal for repeal. No replacement, just repeal. Rather than replace, set up a climate in which tort actions are greatly restricted, the right to purchase the kind and degree of insurance BY THE INDIVIDUAL is not impaired, and the spectre of compulsory coverage is removed. For those who have special problems, like an otherwise uninsurable condition, a contingency fund tied to disability or either underemployment or unemployment, should be part of a compensation package administered through state employment offices (but not funded from the unemployment benefit funds). Otherwise it is the responsibility of the wage earner(s) of the family to cover the medical costs incurred by the family unit through their own resources.

Not the employer, not the municipal, state or Federal government, and for sure, not the “rich”, who couldn’t be able to cover more than a small fraction of the incurred liabilities anyway.

Voting doesn’t matter. It is clear the Left has all the power of the bureaucracy, backed by SCOTUS, to cram whatever they desire down our collective piehole.

Besides, I fully expect the GOPe to successfully engineer the nomination of Jeb Bush through skullduggery. And even if she is running behind, Hillary can easily buy a victory by promising to forgive student loans.

“Toast” pretty much sums it up.

Don't think so. It will be a miracle if we don't get Jeppito or some other RINO and we will all have throw up in our mouths as we have to pull the lever one more time for the evil of 2 lessers.

Not me, perhaps I'll start a FR BBQ thread on that Nov 8th as an alternative for us to share our recipes as we stay home...

I think there is a distinct possibility that these two disastrous rulings by the USSC may have finally woken up the sleeping Silent Majority. The libs are dancing in the streets now but in Nov. 2016, they may be regret getting what they wished for. The fact is that most blacks and Latinos are against gay marriage. I think the Dems are in for a major defeat in 2016, on all fronts. Maybe I'm being optimistic. But I don't think so.

-------------------------------------------------

Perhaps a tad optimistic, but plausible. We could see an effect similar to 2004, when marriage was on the ballot in multiple states, and an R president and congress was elected. It will certainly help to maximize evangelical turnout in 2016.

It will be interesting to see the R candidates reactions. Conservative votes in the R primaries will be won or lost accordingly.

You’re being optimistic. The left, evil never bottoms out without some sort of bloodshed. America has more room to fall, sadly, then the shear weight of it’s moral decay will implode, taking this country with it. What remains is anyone’s guess.

So what if Rats lose and Republicans win? Big deal, there is no difference between D’s and R’s. You are deluding yourself if you think electing republicans will change anything. Remember all the promises Republicans made in 2014? Have they keep even one of their promises? No, not a one. They are lairs and crooks, they are worse then Rats.

All that is left is to stir the racial pot and illegal immigrant pot to get out their base.

One wedge issue is gone.

The conservative movement hasn't had a victory since President Reagan left office.

A GOP victory, regardless of its size, does NOTHING for conservatives.

Since January 20, 1989 there has been a steady advancement of liberalism. The GOP and Democrats have, at times, focused on different facets of the liberal agenda, but there has been no discernible difference in the outcome. We currently have a two-party system with nearly identical agendas, they are only fighting over who gets to take credit.

Sorry can’t buy this view anymore. I used to feel this way, but not now. The Left controls the meme and has a willing mindless twitter obsessed army who can be emotional whipsawed by anyone with a cellphone. I watched it here in Indiana during the RFRA fiasco. People were hysterically reacting to tweets about a law that in essence didn’t exist. But it worked.

Stick a fork in us we are done as a nation.

Um, .... there is no silent majority. That was fifty years ago. These days, most people — way beyond half — are happy to steal from each other, and from the few taxpayers left. That is what government is for — redistribution. The IQ of voters has gotten too low for there to be any hope this Republic, or this Democracy, or whatever this country has become, can function. The free fall is over, brace for impact.

“The fact is that most blacks and Latinos are against gay marriage. I think the Dems are in for a major defeat in 2016, on all fronts. “

Don’t kid yourself. That’s not enough to get them to leave the Democrats.

Won’t happen. There really is just one party and they own the electronic voting machines. Plus they just signed us over to Global Government with the TPA where secret dictates from Global Oligarchs will be the rule of law. Sorry, there is no political solution to a spiritual problem. My best advice is to get right with GOD, and prepare for judgments which will come in ever increasing waves.

Government has become evil at it's core, just like academia and hollywood.

Voting lesser of two evils has show itself to be a waste of time. Good people are not allowed to get into positions of power, only shysters for wealthy donors and other smooth talking soul-less liars.

Best to just ignore it all as much as possible and just live YOUR life the best you can, by your OWN values...and not by government/hollywood/academia standards...as they now speak for, and are guided by, the lowest power.

Life is too short, don't allow these satanic institutions to drag you into the same hell they came from.

"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will"

Instead of referring to the court as SCOTUS, we should refer to it as SCROTUM.
