In a government “of the people, by the people, and for the people,” I don’t get how the members of that government can exempt themselves from the laws they make.

Ain’t gonna happen.
The people who play a part in America’s demise will be given all they desire. The world is their oyster.
How long it will last for them is another question.

Why wouldn’t the Supreme Court “interpret” this law, too? “Certainly, Congress did not intend for the Supreme Court to be subject to this law.”

Rep. Babin, be careful. Johnny might force you out of a leadership position. Oh wait, you sound like a good guy, so you aren't in the 'followersship'. Include House members, Senators, Obama and the King's cabinet and all staff, too.
Oh yes, Rep. Babin, avoid Ft Marcy Park, Johnny might do a Vince Foster on you!!

Typical Republican publicity stunt. Hey, Democrats get lots of mileage out of publicity stunts. Why not our side?
This is a no-brainer.

Yeah. Big deal.
That’s like making somebody with a lifetime pass to a steak buffet
to stop off and buy a Taco-Bell burrito on the way.
THEY ain’t going to eat it even if made to buy it.

Why not simply not reapprove funding for the Article III courts? Make the SCOTUS justices ride the circuit. It would be a metaphor for how I need to work twice as hard to pay the hospital bills of layabouts.
