I agree. When you put Trump up agains’t the carefully scripted politicians that he will be running agains’t they are going to appear to be sadly lacking.
The biggest question I have about Trump is this, will he put up the money necessary to run?
In his case Trump needs to spend somewhere in the $200 to $300 Million range to run in the primaries.
If he gets the nomination figure another $500 to $600 Million in the general election. So your talking close to $1 Billion of his fortune to run.
So does he sell assets to raise the money or borrow it, he does not have that kind of cash in liquid investments like Perot did.
I would say it differently.
He is not competing for the GOP nomination.
He is negotiating for the presidency. He is brokering the deal for the presidency and negotiating for it. Big difference in approach.
To all supporters of senators Cruz & Rubio for their “Aye” votes on TPA, can you list any factories which have moved from Mexico to USA? For every one you list, I can list a dozen which have moved from USA to Mexico. Proof of pudding is in the actual taste test.
Since when any OPINIONs of Mark Steyn or other such people who never created a single job to be taken seriously? Or may be Steyn does not consider the tens of thousands of jobs Trump created as a conservative achievement.
Disclaimer: Trump is NOT currently among the top 3 on my preference list.
I just watched Fiorina interview on Hannity.
She is one smart woman, and not afraid to do what leaders need to do. I guess she has not been a professional politician!
You are the poster child of broken record and never learning when posting here at FR. It is really no surprise that you post something from Carly; wrecker of companies here in the U.S. and Trump, the Chapter 11 king. I don’t want either one of those losers (yes, they are losers given their real track records and how they came to “be” all things considered) anywhere near policy making or “leading”. We are 18T+ in debt and these two playing a waltz will not stimulate the economy; it will just keep it on track for the collapse.
You (correctly) mention we are now more than 18 trillion dollars in debt.
You completely ignore, it is Donald Trump who alone, among all of the Republican candidates, is saying we need to repatriate jobs to America.
I agreed.
I did not watch the whole show, but she was impressive in the section I saw.
