You can't be serious, it has the pot leaves right on it "liquid weed", it is all about the Marijuana look.

By the way, Candy cigarettes first hit the market in the early 1930s, by 1970 they toned them down in packaging and quit calling them cigarettes as the feds considered a national law, in 1967 North Dakota banned them.

The active ingredients of tobacco were not put into many candies for “recreational” use. The active ingredient of marijuana is.

When have you ever seen pot look like an ooze candy? It doesn’t look like pot.

They were still called candy cigarettes when I got some in the 70s. Packaging looked kind of like Lucky Strike. Tasted like crap. I think the whole marketing angle was to “naughty”.

And you can still buy them:

Now they’re “nostalgic”.

It is meant to look like a Marijuana product to get kids high.

It isn’t meant to look like the leaves of the plant in the drug dealer’s basement.

Although they do put the leaves on the candy, and call it “liquid weed” so that there will be no mistake.

You sound like you must be a user yourself of weed.

I had candy cigarettes and never smoked. Winter was the best time to eat them because then your frozen breath looked like smoke :).

Hey, you took my memories! :D

So...would it be wrong to buy some for my kids, just to share the fun I had pretending to smoke at their age?

They would probably be horrified at the idea. Times have changed.
