Bingo. There’s definitely a difference going on between “perceived value” and actual value. Women nowadays seem to think that just being a woman gives them such inherent value that men should jump through hoops for them. However, when so many women are giving away sex without any commitment, there is no scarcity, and so the value has tanked. They’ve devalued their own product and they don’t even realize it.
Young girls are being told that from day one. I think that started in the 90’s. I remember listening to a rant on how women were superior to men and thinking, ‘whoa, my son will grow up to be a man and he will be a nice person who deserves to be valued’. That's when I started disagreeing with the PC zealots. I used to be more Liberal, until I started seeing through the manipulation. Thank the Lord I awakened!

Right on Brother.
Many parents are too busy doing their own thing or wanting to be best friends with their offspring rather than being parents.
In my case, I have a great relationship with all four of my kids, two of whom are on their own, one is halfway there in college.
But, at the end of the day, I’m still Dad.
My girls are very traditional minded. Sadly, they have no significant prospects on the horizon. Young men no longer have the concept of asking a girl out.
My phone is in a shop for repair today. The shop also does video game console repairs and the girl at the shop was complaining cause these gamers have a rash of the Vapors when their game is down.
I said “don’t worry, it’ll probably only last one generation” cause these yahoo’s won’t procreate.
But, on the other hand, it’s a sad state when young men are more interested in games, or other prurient interests to take an interest in young ladies and growing up to be real men.
My relationship with my daughter improved with age. I had a hard tome with dealing with ANY young kids. But overall it was good. She turned out great with minimal drama and we get along well.
I hear you on the video game thing. As a gamer myself (going back to Pong) I admit that most guys today have a problem. But bear with me a min.
I don’t blame them. At all.
No, in the big picture, living vicariously isn’t good. In a normal world. But that ain’t this world. If I had a son today I would probably get him a PS v and a Jolt Cola shipment weekly. He would be safer, better adjusted and disease free. And not sued, arrested and sodomized in jail for the crime of sexually acosting a girl with hate speech like “Hey cutie!”.
Until liberals are removed from power and positions of influence, it’s only going to get worse. There is a reason beyond the Japanese developing healthcare robots. And when they learn to cook, and well..., there probably won’t be any procreating going on with actual females at all.
Too dangerous. Mentally, financially and even physically these days for young men.

One of my sons is in college at a real small engineering school. Boy/girl ratio is at least 10:1
They aren’t a PC school because they don’t have to be. Most students have security clearance with internships so there are zero problems.

I completely get why people lose their minds over the gaming thing and think it’s the end of society in the making. They aren’t wrong per se. But it is a redirection of that society. In some ways for the better as in the ones I pointed out. But of course there is a hell of a down side.
The way to get younger men back on track is to stop criminalizing everything that makes them men to begin with. Men can’t do any traditional activity without some special interest group on that individual topic bringing down the wrath of Govt on them to make it too much hassle. Everything from hunting to custom cars. Pick a dude thing and there is a group opposing and forcing legislation.
And yes games as well. Look up what Gamergate was about. It’s the Rachel Dongeal whatever her name is thing pushed by SJWs pissed about sexism/racism and certain global un PC themes in games and the instigator was banging half the gaming media to get her agenda pushed through.
Males have no refuge at all really but games are still pretty free wheeling and don’t have a BLM/EPA monitor at the trailhead.
