My husband took up leather and rawhide braiding and became an expert, not a huge difference from knitting and he is a mans man.
Janome makes a treadle sewing machine. The cabinet needs to be made, though.
Some folks attribute the invention to a Scottish man who was designated a saint by his church for making caps. The members of early guilds were men. But the history probably goes way back to shepherds and fishermen. Also, look up the inventors of the early knitting machines. Interesting history, really.
My gay brother and his gay lover knit, and their product is pretty awesome.
They made a a beanie for my daughter when she was an infant.
When I found out about their knitting i just considered it an extension of their homosexuality. You know, like their eye for window treatments.
I'd prefer my man knitting to gaming and staring at his phone ad nauseum.
Well the one guy married his high school sweetheart (they met in church) - and I don’t know if he does draperies!
