Depends on your application.
I had Ektachrome 400 film in my camera when grabbed for a ski trip to Lake Placid. Turned out to be gorgeous, but the lens flare in the photos from the top of Whiteface would embarrass JJ Abrams.
Had I had even Kodachrome 64...
Oh yes...such a high ASA combined with brilliant snow would definitely be a problem.
