Mark Levin announced on his 5/15/15 radio program that he will soon name his top one, two or three choices for the Republican presidential nominee.

He said that he will be endorsing earlier than he usually does in the Republican primary process, because he wants to help prevent the RINO nominee from winning.

He said that he will be announcing "soon."

Could care less about what Beck wants..... he not to be trusted

But many conservatives and libertarians do, which is what this is about.

Politics has gotten way too pushy and disrespectful of the principle that we are a republic

We've entered a lawless period, where some people are playing by republican rules and some are playing by street rules.

If we're going to maintain the republic, we're going to have to start playing by street rules, at least sometimes.

It's a paradox, but we have little alternatives left.

I’m glad he is going to endorse. I think it might help. For sure, the not endorsing has ended badly.

Rubio? He has youth, but don’t think he has what it takes to be president or at least not top of the ticket. I’m a Cruzer.

Whatever. I’m not a single-issue voter. Rubio is more acceptable that Jeb: THAT is a line I won’t cross.

I wish Rush, Shawn and Beck would join him. This is not the time in our history to wait.

It’s Walker then. Glad to hear it. He’d be fine as President.

I like Cruz, but he polls well behind Christie and Trump and even Huckabee. None of those three can win the nomination much less get my vote.

This time it is no holds barred against RINOS, Liberals, Marxists, and the Chambers of Commerce. Being “nice” gets your ass kicked in national politics.

On your “other” list you can also mark out Kasich, Ayotte, King, and Martinez. The first three are RINOS and Susana started out OK, but went with the “Common Core” BS.

Thanks, also added Peter King (pre-struck) but posted the wrong version a couple of minutes ago.

Additionally, Bush has joined with former president of the pro-Common Core Fordham Institute Chester Finn and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Conservatives for Higher Standards, a group that promotes the Common Core standards but whose supporters still call themselves “conservatives.” Among the organization’s supporters are Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-TN), soon-to-be head of the Senate committee that oversees education; former Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour (R); former U.S. Secretary of Education Bill Bennett; Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad (R); Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam (R); former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R); and New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez (R).

Beck announced his favorites to be Cruz and Paul a while ago.

That leaves Sean. Rush won’t endorse in the primary.

There are two definitions of “nice.”

1. Cave into every bit of pressure you meet.

2. Be principled and charming, brave and optimistic. Have a pleasant tone while you courageously speak the truth at all times.

I mean the 2nd definition. Nice like Reagan. Like someone said, diplomacy is the art of speaking hard truths without giving offense.

I think at this point we are so divided offense will be taken in just speaking the truth. But it is not necessary to be harsh about it.

Got it. Fact is, though, Reagan knew how to pick up a two-by four when the need arose, albeit in a gentlemanly way.

Absolutely. That two-by-four is very important and my comment in no way should be taken to say I am against really whacking people over the head with the truth. Just make sure it is truth you are whacking them with and not just insults. And make sure there is no other alternative. In a republic it is persuasion and charm that earns votes. You can be correct and still lose if you are needlessly rude and negative.

I actually think Cruz as a candidate is doing a very good job. It is important that supporters of a candidate follow the candidates lead. So much of what people think comes from secondary sources.

I guess my point is that I want LESS compromise, not more. They should say what needs to be said, just consider HOW it is said. That does not mean I want “I just want to say I love homosexuals....” type of ridiculous nonsense.

The reason Reagan’s “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall” was so effective was that it was TRUE, it was direct, and it was no more or less than it needed to be.

Our current politicians are erring on both by watering down the message and by being unlikable and unpleasant and needlessly harsh.
