James Taylor is backing Hillary for president

By Associated Press

Barack Obama supporter James Taylor doesn’t just think the U.S. president is great — he believes Obama is the greatest of all-time. “I’ve been watching politics since (Dwight) Eisenhower and Adlai Stevenson, when dinosaurs roamed the Earth, and Obama is my favorite, favorite president,” Taylor said in an interview Wednesday. “I am just thankful for every day that he’s in office. I am so proud that he represents my country and I think he represents me — I think he represents the America that I know.”

Not really. It splits the simpering ninny vote in a bipartisan manner. Now they will have to decide between Hillary and a GOPe like Bush, RandPaul, Perry, Rubio, Walker etc.

..“Fire and Rain”...

Reminds me... I was invited to a James Taylor concert about 10 years ago in Salt Lake City. Wasn't that much of a fan anymore, but hey: free outdoor concert.

Well, Sweet Baby James performed well until it came to his most popular song, the one that made him famous-- and he butchered it. Deliberately.

Doesn't surprise me that he's an Obamoid. Just one more reason to forget that he exists.

A friend of mine’s older brother gave Taylor guitar lessons when James was a teenager. He said he was one of the biggest a-holes he had ever met, which was saying somehting since the brother was one of the biggest a-holes I had ever met!

If James Taylor is backing her then everyone should...

I got dragged to a James Taylor concert for John Anderson in 1980. I voted for Reagan. Memorable election. I got to vote for the other guys against Ted Kennedy and Tip O'Neill as a bonus.

Not that it did any good.

Anybody who can ruin a perfectly good, uptempo song like Handy Many, and perform it as if he were on Quaaludes does not deserve to have his judgment respected. I’d be more likely to here what Jimmy Jones or Del Shannon had to say, if they were available.

Oh yeah after Obummer ignored the protests he send Lurch with James Taylor to sing “You got a friend” which was about as cheesy as it gets. You got a friend from Obummer, a guy who does everything he can to empower and help spread radical Islam.

I can’t stand his politics but I will say this. I do enjoy his early hits and of his ex-wife Carly Simon. That is when songs where songs, nothing like today.

We should really listen to someone who entertains us with pretty songs. Why they are much more sensible than actual thinkers and people who work for a living.

.

One of the most serious problems we are facing in America today is the undue influence of entertainers who back in the 19th century, were regarded mostly as gutter trash, and worthy only of the company of gamblers, drunks and whores.

Technology has given them money and influence (due to the sizes of audiences they are capable of reaching now), but as a general rule, they are the same old neer do wells that would rather pursue day dreaming and make believe instead of actual work.

Yes, he was a heroin addict. He is also the scion of an upper middle class family. He’s never held a real job in his life. He’s never had to worry about money ever. He’s the poster boy for useless progressives everywhere.

It is my observation that often the forces of the left originate from the children of the upper-middle/rich class, and for the same reason you mention. Real work is an alien concept to them.

Marx and Engels come to mind as examples. So does Jane Fonda and pretty much every left wing kook in Hollywood who never had to work for a living.

The primary agitators in the French Revolution was this same class of entitled feeling spoiled rotten brats.
