I’m in my fifties and have missed the marathon with almost 100% success over the last fifty years. The marathon messes up traffic, making it impossible to drive across town for half the day. A real pain in the butt.
When I was little, the Marathon was a quaint Boston oddity. It was much better that way. Now it’s some weird religion for exercise fanatics, the beautiful people and Tony Robbins fans.

Counselor Yo-Yo, your evidence has been presented. I previously have asked the court to have the verdict set aside. In light of this new evidence I ask the court to find the defendant guilty by reason of physically affectations not entirely of the defendants fault. After all gentlemen of the jury, the quality of mercy is not strained, is that not so?
