A lot of people carry in Utah. It'll be interesting to see if any charges are filed in this case. IMO, Utah is becoming more & more liberal.

"He’s trying to assist this lady whose car is being stolen. He was fighting with her, he was trying to protect her. Then at the point the suspect comes to him and he’s trying to take the gun from him, then he’s trying to protect himself," he said.

there were several felony warrants out for the would-be carjacker.

Like other legal uses of firearms to protect citizens, this will either be scarcely reported or shoved down the memory hole by most lib media outlets. If there's one thing I've learned getting older is that libs ignore events that contradict the narrative.

Now if the rescuer had shot the woman whose car was being hijacked, that would make national news. it would be "The evil gun strikes again."

It’s not just Utah. Texas is becoming more liberal also.
In fact I can’t think of a state which is becoming more conservative.

You uttered a most salient fact right there, as we contemplate who will become President in the next election.

It’s not just Utah. Texas is becoming more liberal also.

No kidding!

The cities (Austin, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio) are rotting from the inside out from liberalism.
We've been infiltrated, subverted and betrayed.

It will be just a matter of which state can hold out the longest.

Texas is becoming more liberal also.

More liberal than the '60s and '70s when LBJs boys were in charge?

I don't think so.

I'm seeing Texas get more conservative as time goes on.

One man dead is a misleading headline. This was no man, it was a perp, a career criminal. Pay the shooter bounty for cleaning up trash and buy him more bullets.

The perp needed killing.

“It sure is! How do these articles get past their editor? “

There are no editors. When the local paper was sold for the third time, they laid off most of the editors. I suppose they’re letting Word do the editing.

“It’s not just Utah. Texas is becoming more liberal also.”

In your dreams, maybe. How about the fact that the MOST CONSERVATIVE slate ever won by 20 points in 2014? Every damn statewide race. Just because we have more Hispanics DOES NOT mean we are voting more liberal...in fact just the opposite is now happening in Texas.

Horrible writing!

That was a quote from the police and not something the reporter came up with himself. Is it the reporter's job to clean up the grammar of the people he's quoting?

Thanks for your view, from an actual Texas resident.
My views are simply what I read, since I am in Washington State.
I never said Texas is liberal, what I said was it is trending liberal, if ever so slightly. How close was the last governor’s race? It should’nt have been even that close, with that moronic liberal democrat candidate.
