It probably would have made more, if it had not been for the Pacman-Merichicken fight.

I can tell you that it was very action packed and nostop during the entire movie. However, some of the interactions, especially between Black Widow and Bruce Banner felt somewhat forced and unconvincing, imo.

I have not seen it, but probably will.

Although I did like the first Avengers movie.

It seems like A LOT of these comic book movies (X-Men, Spider Man, Batman, etc....) are making a lot of money at the box office in the last few years.

Wow. That’s an amazing haul.

“The Avengers” didn’t grab me, although the special effects were breathtaking. The Hulk was incredible, from a CGI perspective.

I really enjoyed the Iron Man series, especially the first one, which ranks with “Spiderman 2” as my favorite action-hero movies.

Comic books, because they have become much more sophisticated mediums to tell serious stories, their movies have become a genuine genre onto itself.

I remember a time when Hollywood avoided comic book movies because they felt they were money losers.

I think Iron Man and like Wolverine (kind of reminds me Clint East Wood characters in the 60s and 70s)

I guess technology makes it easier to make comic book movies compared to the past.

The future of Marvel and DC comics is the movies, video games and e-books.

I saw it last night and enjoyed it. The Hawkeye character, previously a minor role that made the audience wonder why he was there, has a big role in this movie. He even has a joke about using arrows against robots in the big fight scene. The scene in the trailer where whey all try to lift Thor’s hammer has a big payoff later.
