Exactly- There were some bruisers though- loud mouths, but for the most p art even the bad hombres were mostly respectful-
Same thing with MMA- started out fairly gentlemanly then as more and more punks entered the ring- it became WWE with everyone disrespecting everyone- showing no class whatsoever - not even much fun to watch anymore0-
Boxing will always be around. It’s too close to basic human nature and survival, to ever ‘not’ be a sport. When nobody practices arts like fencing anymore, there will be boxing.
But I’d be happy if they just ditched all the rhinestones, and bragging/trash talk...
